Introduction The format is a tv advert for the chocolate brand snickers.The purpose for this advert is to promote and make people want to buy their chocolate bar.It is aimed at people who like chocolate, there isn't really an age target for this advert. The platform used for this advert was television, also it is seen online on youtube.

What type of advert is it and what mode of address is usedThe type of advert is to promote this certain chocolate bar. The mode off address is informal because it is silly and uses humour to promote the product.

They use humour dressing up a man as an women and saying she isnt herself when she is hungry. When she eats the chocolate she changes back to a pretty lady.

Key persuasive techniques In this advert there are many different persuasive techniques. The most obvious one is humour. The directors use comedy to try and get the audience to recognize the product

They also use a slogan. “You're not you when you're hungry”. This is catchy and also catches the watchers attention. This means that a snickers will help when you're hungry.

Messages and values in the advertIn the advert the main message is that when you're hungry snickers will help with that but they put this message across using comedy.
