Project that established Malawi’s first clinical M.Med Psychiatry degree from 2010-13

Involves 2 years’ specialist training in Cape Town

Currently 3 MBBS graduates taking the course

degree in Malawi (UNIMA, CCAP, Private)

• A wide variety of Masters subjects

• Why is our policy to fund Scholarships in-country?1. Cost 2. Builds the capacity of Malawian institutions3. Avoids the ‘brain drain’ of promising Malawian students
