Why hello there Fitty!

Everybody is blending or juicing something these days. We’re inundated with infomercials and magazine articles about cold-pressed, organic, raw this and that. Frustrating though it may be, it is a very convenient way of getting a quick, delicious hit of nutrients for people on the go.

Of course, you could buy something off-the-shelf to save time, but I’m all about quick home fixes that allow you to control your ingredients. Not everybody has the same healthy mindset as you - including food and drink producers. Remember they are out to make a profit, so pre-made alternatives can be both costly and less nutritious.

The bad news about smoothies is they can be sugar and calorie bombs if you’re not careful. The good news is they can be nutritional powerhouses in a to-go-cup if you know what you’re doing. And you know what you’re doing...or you will in a minute.

These recipes take less time than it would take to pay for a store-bought version, and are awesome for both breakfast and post-workout. So grab a chilled glass for one:

Your fit life starts here. Sally x
