The Surgeon General says there is no safe level of secondhand smoke exposure.
Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals. 40 of which are known to cause cancer.
Secondhand smoke is a known cause of childhood sicknesses such as ear infections, respiratory tract infections and SIDs (sudden infant death syndrome).
Children exposed to secondhand smoke in the home are 44% more likely to suffer from asthma.
