The oilfield development da tabase is a common applicat ion system based on development product ion ,namely a comprehensive sy stem w ith computer and netw ork as a main par t and data acquisi tion , data t rans-mission , data sto rage data display as a center.The paper analyses the advantages o f the system in Bohai oi l-f ield development and existing problems in practice.It gives suggestions about further improvements of thedatabase w hich w ill provide reference fo r domestic digi tal oi lfield const ruction.

From SiO2 scaling mechanism in a boiler , the paper analyses the relationship and inf luencing factorsbetween SiO2 scaling and pressure , tempe rature , quality of steam , PH value , alkalinity and different com-ponents in feedw ater.It is veri fied thoug th field tests and dissection o f boiler tube.Resul ts show tha t SiO2content w hich is more than 50mg / L , stated in SY /T 0097-2001standard , is justif ied.So i t i s necessa ryto revise SY/T0097-2001 standard.
