Re-decide about early negative injunctions and self talk.

Create meaning from the past:

Personal mistakes: Goal is to forgive yourself concerning past mistakes- extend compassion to self. Discuss what meaning you can take from the experience.

Offences: address past offences against you by combining empathy/compassion with justice. What will be the consequence (psychologically, emotionally, behaviorally) of not forgiving? Discussion (catharsis and meaning) and boundaries (protection) are key.
