After our September Preview Day, we experienced some of the highest sales in our company’s 36 year history. We thank you for your support. New adventures big and small, await in the New Year!

Because of the lateness of Tour Preview Day in 2015, it’s been 3 months since our last newsletter. So this communication is full of new trips of all kinds and important updates…

For those who stay a little closer to home, Donnie has put together a brand new overnighter to Lake Tahoe this summer, to enjoy outdoor theater, a Shakespearean comedy, by the lake. Just One Man’s Opinion by Mark Hoffmann

Ever notice how, at the end of the year, there’s always stuff let over. Things you didn’t sort and throw away, places you intended to clean but never quite got around to, errands you meant to run. At Sports Leisure, there are a lot of things leftover, especially since our last newsletter was September 1 and our catalog came out in October and there are a lot of things to share. Come on and we’ll wade through the pile together…

Facebook is (Sports Leisure) FunIf you are one of the growing number of

people who play on Facebook from time to time, perhaps you have discovered the Sports Leisure Vacations page. Our staff posts pictures of trips, people and places. There’s always something interesting to look at or talk about. Sometime around the middle of the year, we intend to try out some “last minute space” discounts on our Facebook page. You might want to “like” our page to get any updates. I know many of you have found Facebook a way to keep up with others around the planet, especially your grandkids.

That Old JacketI take 10-12 trips a year myself, which

gives me the opportunity to meet and talk to many of our travelers. Many of you are personal friends. I have an observation to share. Many of us (especially the guys) have a favorite sport coat, or jacket we like to wear. Often we wear it just about everywhere, forgetting it has become a part of us over time, sort of like a security blanket. But sometimes it can become an odiferous (or stinky for those who want something less flowery) security blanket. Often, the owner doesn’t notice the familiar smell. But those traveling with him or her will.

So… if you have that favorite wrap you like to take with you on tour, and you haven’t washed it in recent memory, take a minute and throw it in the next load, or take it to the cleaners. Because if it starts to move around on its own on the bus, we will have to shoot it.

After working in the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District, Mark Hoffmann founded Sports Leisure Vacations out of his Fulton Avenue apartment in 1979. Though Mark admits to ‘just sort of happening into it”, he found his niche in the retail tour business, enabling folks to achieve their travel dreams. Given the fact that Mark and his staff strive to exceed customer wants, they’ve been most successful in serving a niche of mature travelers, often those who need a little extra consideration. Sports Leisure Vacations assembles and operates custom tours and vacations of one to fifteen days in length, and can accommodate a wide variety of travel interests. Check out the website to see an amazing array of travel options. The company culture has centered around refusing to put profits ahead of service, and a mantra: “We love our travelers and they love us back.” It’s working- not only is the company thriving in its 32nd year, but community support and acknowledgement have resulted, including a prestigious award for contribu-tions to the Arts from the Sacramento Arts and Business Council. For twenty years Sports Leisure has been an underwriter of KVIE Public Television. VP Clayton Whitehead has served on the KVIE Board and Mark was president of the National Tour Association in 2000. Mark and Tom Romano host the Travel Guys on KFBK, Sundays 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

SUCCESS STORIES—A SpECIAl AdvERTISIng SECTIOnHi, Rita

This has been left over for a while, but with the signings of several free agents in the off season, it’s pretty apparent the Chicago Cubs are intent on ending their long World Series drought. When I think of The Cubs, I think of one lady, Rita Hull. Rita has been a Cubs fan all her life. Missed you on the bus last year Rita, I didn’t get to take a single trip. Baseball blood runs deep. I know Rita’s is Cubs blue. When they get to the World Series next year, you heard it here first. Unless you know Rita.

The KangarooCame home from a recent tour to a bag

in my chair in my office. A big bag. Inside was a somewhat strange-looking Kangaroo with boxing gloves (pictured below). Also inside the bag was a letter from our friend Liz Hartmann.

Liz wrote that she was sorting through the belongings of her friends Stan & Diana Gordon, Diana having passed recently and Liz being in charge of the estate. She wrote, “As I was going through things getting ready for the estate sale, I decided to give Sports Leisure something to remember Stan and Diana by. They loved traveling with you, and considered you among their best friends. You all provided a focus to their lives. Even though Stan loved his boxing, traveling with all of you was his first love. You were very important to them. I know they would want you to have something.”

Liz continues, “Mark, the boxing kangaroo is from their Sports Leisure trip to Australia. Since kangaroos are known to kick and box (Stan was a big boxing guy in town), they had to get it. I know the little SF Giants hat didn’t come with it, however, Stan and Diana

had it on display with the hat on its head. You decide if it stays. I have also included 3 key rings with boxing gloves on them for you, Clayton and Chris.”

Stan and I made each other laugh. Diana kept both of us in line. I’m looking for the right place in our office for the kangaroo. It doesn’t match anything, sort of like how Stan’s loud pants matched his equally colorful shirts. Which is why it is the perfect item to remember two wonderful people by. Thank you Liz, for sharing.

Tom Romano & The Travel GuysJanuary marks the beginning of the 5th

year of our radio show on KFBK. I share the microphone each week with veteran radio professional Tom Romano, who works hard to make us both sound good. Our goal is to make you a smarter traveler, along with sharing a bit of information on Sports Leisure destinations. The show airs from 3-4pm on Sundays, at 1530AM and 93.1FM. We award a gift card worth at least $100 to a recent Sports Leisure Traveler each week.

The Owner’s ChoicesA traveler asked me on the Christmas

Mystery trip what my personal favorites were for next year. I hemmed and hawed at the time, but promised to share my choices here. So, in Just One Man’s Opinion…

The Nevada Ghost Towns trip is one of my all time favorites. I just think it’s cool to “talk” to ghosts. Believe in ghosts or not, it’s up to you… I’m very proud of the Hawaii tours Chris and I have put together. We go back to Maui in April. If you love the islands, you should go. Sports Leisure trips to Hawaii are just better.

The Tulip/Niagara Falls tour in May with Patricia Hanson strikes my fancy, because the falls are awesome and Ottawa is a beautiful, charming city… Snow is falling in the mountains, which means the waterfalls in Yosemite will be alive this spring for our visit. There is nothing more beautiful than Yosemite in the spring.

By the time you read this, we will be making our third visit to Cuba, which is remarkable. Scott is doing Iceland this summer. I have this crazy little tour to Montana in June that isn’t remarkable in any way except it will be a lot of fun and the scenery is spectacular.

Mark & Staff,

Thank you for the lovely poinsettia. I will enjoy it all during the holidays. Been enjoying the one day trips I’ve been taking and will try some short overnighters. Blessings to you all. Fondly,BerniceJurach

Sports Leisure Vacations,

My committee and I thank you for being a sponsor for our 2015 Women’s Golf Invitational Tournament. Without your generosity it would not be the success it is! Thank you so much,PegMucci,TimberCreekWomen’sGolfClub

Hello!

Over the years, my husband John and I have enjoyed many wonderful Sports

Leisure trips – they are the best! John passed away several years ago, and my traveling days are over due to age-related issues, and I have moved from Sacramento to Santa Cruz to be near my daughter. However, I still enjoy receiving your trip publications and would appreciate being retained on your mailing list, if possible. Thank you. Best Wishes,FlorenceNuss

Ed. Note: Florence, we would be pleased to leave your name on our list. We also received “retirement” letters/calls from Donna Newberry and Peggy Eaker this month. Even after their traveling days are over, Sports Leisure Travelers are ALWAYS part of our family, retired or not.

Dear Mark,

I want to thank you for the very nice trip to Fleet Week. This was my first experience with Sports Leisure. All the considerations extended to the comfort and well-being of the group showed that SLV is considering all the scenarios. Thank you Chris, especially, for standing in that long line to get all our photos. I don’t know if it was preplanned or not, but having our group seated on the level that would allow us to disembark first, was genius. I appreciated getting home in time to watch my 49er recorded game before it

got too late. My next trip, already reserved, is Spring Training, and after that, Wildlife

Viewing in B.C., then Mexico. Sincerely,CherylLong

Mark,

Your generosity of the two complimentary tickets to Phantom of the Opera at the Mira Loma Alumni Luncheon was greatly appreciated. Karen Granzella and I had an incredible time. The play was outstanding. I’d also like to extend a special thanks to both Greg and Jessie. They were very pleasant and helpful. I’m looking forward to booking some future day trips, especially “Dirty Dancing” in SF next year.DebbieDavis

Mark and Jessie,

A belated thank you from a first time Sports Leisure Traveler, who totally enjoyed the Eastern Michigan upper Peninsula journey in September. The well planned and executed itinerary proved to be educational, informational, smooth, fun and tasty! To be part of the Gatsby era was a “total hoot”… I truly don’t know how much “Grander” it could have been! Hope to see you both again soon.TerryArmor

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your contribution of $2,520.00 to the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation which was most appreciated. We certainly hope your group enjoyed their recent trip to the top of the colossal mountain carving. Your gift provides essential support for our mission “to protect and preserve the culture, tradition, and living heritage of the North American Indians.” We are so grateful for your generosity. Sincerely,MoniqueandJadwigaZiolkowski,CEO(s)CrazyHorseMemorialFoundation

A Personal P.S. – We are so grateful for your visit and for allowing us to take your group up the mountain. Many new friends!

Ed. Note: Sports Leisure remains the ONLY tour operator to provide our travelers with the opportunity not only to

SEE Crazy Horse Mountain, but to STAND

atop this amazing tribute to a man and his jackhammer. If it sounds like we are proud, it’s because we are. Someday, when that mountain is finished, we will know our dollars played an important part. It isn’t an inexpensive option. It is a wonderfully unique and special experience.

Dear Michael,

Sonja Yee and I want to thank you so much for setting up our Holland America

cruise on the Pacific Coast. You were kind and patient with our concerns which was so appreciated.

The prices and travel coordination were excellent and your printed itinerary and prep materials were so helpful at each step. We will gladly recommend you and Sports Leisure. Thanks again, Michael, for everything you did to arrange this dream trip.AnnSaibeni

of our team is available to help you book all kinds of independent travel? The Human Side Learn, Laugh, Reflect

One LinersIf you’re not familiar with the work of

Steven Wright, he’s the famous (comic) scientist who once said: “I woke up one morning, and all of my stuff had been stolen and replaced by exact duplicates.” His mind sees things differently than most of us do… Here are some of his gems: 1. What is the speed of quiet? 2. Borrow money from pessimists –

they don’t expect it back. 3. Half the people you know are below

average. 4. I almost had a psychic girlfriend,…

But she left me before we met. 5. How do you tell when you’re out of

invisible ink? 6. Hard work pays off in the future;

laziness pays off now. 7. I intend to live forever... So far, so

good. 8. If Barbie is so popular, why do you

have to buy her friends? 9. Eagles may soar, but weasels don’t

get sucked into jet engines. 10. What happens if you get scared half

to death twice? 11. Why do psychics have to ask you

for your name? 12. Experience is something you don’t

get until just after you need it. 13. The hardness of the butter is

proportional to the softness of the bread.

14. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research.

15. The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.

16. The colder the x-ray table, the more of your body is required to be on it.

17. Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don’t have film.

18. If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Andtheall-timefavorite— 19. If your car could travel at the speed

of light, would your headlights work?

Getting OlderA distraught senior citizen phoned her

doctor’s office. “Is it true,” she wanted to know, “that the medication you prescribed has to be taken for the rest of my life?” “’Yes, I’m afraid so,” the doctor told her. There was a moment of silence before the senior lady replied...

“I’m wondering, then, just how serious is my condition because this prescription is marked ‘NO REFILLS’..”

An older gentleman was on the operating table awaiting surgery and he insisted that his son, a renowned surgeon, perform the operation. As he was about to get the anesthesia, he asked to speak to his son. “Yes, Dad , what is it?” “Don’t be nervous, son; do your best, and just remember, if it doesn’t go well, if something happens to me, your mother is going to come and live with you and your wife....”

Two guys, one old, one young, are pushing their carts around Wal-Mart when they collide. The old guy says to the young guy, “Sorry about that. I’m looking for my

wife, and I guess I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going.”

The young guy says, “That’s OK, it’s a coincidence. I’m looking for my wife, too... I can’t find her and I’m getting a little desperate.” The old guy says, “Well, maybe I can help you find her... what does she look like?” The young guy says, “Well, she is 27 yrs. old, tall, with red hair, blue eyes, is buxom... with no bra, long legs, and is wearing short shorts. What does your wife look like?’ To which the old guy says, it doesn’t matter, – let’s just look for yours!”

Remembering Our Friends…The list is long this month. Perhaps because it’s been a while since we got together

on this page. Regardless, some of our travel family have taken their last journey on this earth. We honor their memories here. Our system isn’t perfect. We only know someone has passed if one of our travel family passes along the word. Please share so we can remember our friends. (Call the office or e-mail Mark at [email protected].)

There are a lot of old friends in this section. Perhaps the best personal friend was Bette (Elizabeth) Eckman. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and was the last remaining family member of her generation. When word came of her passing, Chris

commented, “Bette always said she would travel until her money or her legs wore out. Her legs went first. What a sweet lady.” Amen.

We share the joy of travel together. The lights of Christmas, taking pictures of The Statue of Liberty, learning, laughing, sharing together. We say farewell and wish that all of their trips from now on will be on the wings of angels.Russell Friddle Irene Massello Mary Ganow

I didn’t even mention the Mystery Tour celebrating the National Parks Centennial in August, or the fact we are taking TWO groups to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta next fall. There are so many more, Chris’ trip to Bar Harbor, The Hamptons next summer, Ramona’s going Wildlife Viewing next fall and the tour is almost sold out. National Parks? Patty’s trips to see TV Game Shows in Hollywood sound like loads of fun, as does the Chocolate Festival. What can I say. I think we have a lot of great trips. Some a didn’t even mention, because editing this page is already going to be difficult… Aren’t you sorry you asked?

And so it goes…

Fly to Portland, departing at 9:30am, arriving in time for a visit to the amazing Portland Art Museum. Your stop is a multi-faceted experience; including a casual luncheon in one of the galleries, a guided tour, and a scavenger hunt with some fun prizes.

Check into your hotel in mid-afternoon and enjoy some down time before an early dinner at the City Grill. Overlooking the city from 30 floors above, it’s one of the signature places to dine in a city with many great restaurants.

Day two begins with a visit to one of Portland’s adult donut stores. (This isn’t the one that is x-rated, sorry, but you will find some really unique treats.) Next, discover some of the city’s unique methods of transportation, as you ride an aerial tram and a street car.

An afternoon tour includes shopping stops (really unique stops), foodie tastings and

demonstrations. As evening comes, we take you to a cluster of food carts for dinner on your own, right in a beautiful neighborhood. Over a dozen choices, from international gourmet to fast food, and of course, dessert.

Your host hotel is the rustic feeling Cornucopia Hotel. The island of Comino, another stop on our itinerary, is noted for its tranquility and isolation. It has a permanent population of only four residents. Travel by private boat for a daytrip to enjoy the small island, its beach and the boat while docked. The Barber Pole, or Once Over Lightly

News of importance to our travelers. Changes, additions and updates on our policies and requests for your assistance in areas of mutual importance.

The Price of Cancellation Protection Goes up, Especially

on International TripsSticker shock has been hitting Travel

Club Members recently, particularly those registering for international tours and purchasing Cancellation Protection/Insurance.

Recently, due to unusually high rates, we had to seek a new underwriter for our international insurance. Everyone is seeing increased claims, perhaps because many are traveling actively to a much older age than their parents. So some changes were inevitable.

The first thing that has happened is the cost of insurance on international trips is now directly tied to your age. The reality, many insurance companies have come to realize, is that the older you are, the more likely you are to have an issue that precludes you from going on a long overseas adventure. This is something which probably should have happened long ago. Older travelers got a deal for a long time, now that deal has gone away. The older you are, the more you will pay. Some of the amounts are not pretty, but they reflect the reality of providing coverage to mature travelers. We are happy to provide you with a quote for insurance coverage (which we recommend you take, especially on an overseas trip) before you register for the tour, if you like. That way you will know the cost up front.

Even domestic tours (which include Canadian tours) are seeing higher cancellation rates. So effective January 1,

2016, the cost of Cancellation Protection for domestic tours will increase to $7 per $100 of the double occupancy tour price (an exclusive feature of our services to single travelers is that they do not pay a surcharge for cancellation protection on the single supplement part of the tour price). For day trips, the cancellation protection prices will

be simplified. For all non-theater/concert/baseball trips, cancellation protection will cost $10. For all trips involving a admission ticket for a seat (theater, concerts, baseball games to name a few), the cost of cancellation protection will be $15. This brings the rates in line with the risk and costs of cancellation for our underwriter.

Perfumes/ColognesFrom time to time, we get a comment on

an evaluation about someone in a group wearing a more-than-necessary amount of a fragrance on the bus, or in an enclosed area (like a meal or a party) while on tour. On a recent day trip, five people wrote a note on the back of their “Travel Guys” entry form, mentioning someone on the bus who was making them sick with the strong fragrance they were wearing.

Because of that instance, it seems like an appropriate time to remind all who travel with us of the importance of going “lightly” when applying perfumes, after shaves and colognes. What smells wonderful to you may not be so inviting to someone else, and indeed, may be an odor which causes them great distress. Best policy, use only a very

tiny amount for fragrance, and defer to

“lighter” smells whenever possible. Your fellow travelers will thank you for it.

Meal Selections on TourIn recognition of the fact that the man

who owns Sports Leisure (Mark) is the world’s pickiest eater, we have always tried to offer our travelers choices at mealtime. Sometimes this isn’t possible, but often, with a lot of arm-twisting, we can get you a choice or choices, occasionally small groups even get “run of menu.” We are proud of this policy, of not making you “eat what’s put in front of you.”

The tough part of giving folks choices is when you don’t respond to our requests for your choices in advance of departure (by the deadline often indicated on the printed itinerary). That results in phone calls from our office to try and track you down the get your selections from you. As you might imagine,

it’s very labor intensive. Staff at the office have also noticed something. They tend to be calling the same people, over and over again, to find out what they would like to eat.

To help light a fire under those folks without eliminating menu choices, beginning immediately, when you call in a meal choice to the office, you will receive a menu confirmation number to write on your tour confirmation. It is that number which verifies you did call in and make your selection(s). Those without a number will be easily identified as travelers who did not indicate a preference. Our office will make one attempt to contact those for whom we don’t have a menu choice (time permitting). Those who don’t make the call to us will be assigned a menu selection at random and it will not be able to be changed on site. We appreciate your understanding. It really will only impact those who aren’t responding now and will eliminate a lot of repetitive calling.

The Difference Between B and FB in the Morning

Travelers often ask what the difference is between these two meal symbols on written itineraries. Both are abbreviations for a kind of breakfast on tour. When you see (B), it means a limited menu breakfast. Like the kind often found at Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn Express, Shilo Inns and others. Limited selection, particularly when it comes to proteins.

When you see (FB), it means a full

breakfast. A full breakfast, or choice of menu (or at least several options of a full breakfast) will be available to you. On the rare occasion you see (CB) in the itinerary, it designates a continental breakfast, meaning pastry of some type, coffee and juice, or similar. (BR)

in the itinerary for a morning meal indicates a brunch, usually a buffet or choice of menu, and often with complimentary champagne.

Ramona Goodge – “Visiting the working Coast Guard station in Fort Bragg was fascinating… but having shots

of tequila at 8:30 in the morning along the El Fuerte River in Mexico on the Copper Canyon trip was the best!” (This should tell you a little something about Ramona’s trips and the people who take them… LOL.)

Clayton Whitehead –

“When we went to Kentucky in October, I was reminded why going to horse country at a non-Derby time is such a better experience. The horse farm dinner in Lexington and the day of racing at Keeneland were just exquisite. I also really like the show Something Rotten in New York. Asbolutely hysterical.”

Jessie Tucker – ”The Ford Rouge Factory tour when we went to Michigan and Mackinac Island. It was so futuristic, the people were friendly and knowledgeable and shared a lot with us.”

Kevin Murphy – “At the TAP Board Meeting, I discovered southeastern Connecticut is a great destination… the town of

Mystic has a complete 18th century seafaring village. Pretty cool.” (Kevin is President of TAP, Travel Alliance Partners, a group of about 300 tour operators and the suppliers we do business with on the road. 2016 will be his third year as TAP’s volunteer leader.)

Joey Querio – “The month-long cruise to Asia this fall was unique. We went to a lot of places I never thought I’d get to, like Guam and the Marshall Islands. Oh, and Shakey’s Pizza is alive and well in Asian countries.”

Mark Hoffmann – “Going to Disneyland. Everyone was so full of smiles. Cars Land was like a miniature Route

66. It was like recreating a piece of your childhood. I want to go back.” (Rumor has it the Disneyland trip might be offered again in November of 2016.)

Patricia Hansen –

“Although I have been there many times, Niagara Falls always impresses me. The power of all that water; and the views are spectacular, especially from your hotel room if you travel with Sports Leisure.”

Patty Thayer – ”I learned in Costa Rica that you should save the best hotel for last if possible, and that what we did

by staying three nights at the Nayara Hotel in Arenal. It’s truly paradise!”

At a recent training day, we asked the Sports Leisure Tour Directors whatdestinations, activities or attractions they enjoyed most on the road in 2015,

and here are their answers (as of early December):

Tour Director Comments

Chris Galloway – “Cuba is so magical. Riding in a classic 1950’s American car is the perfect travel memory. Can I give honorable mention to Santa Fe? That is one of my new favorite places.”

Scott Angeletti – “Croatia was awesome. I so want to go back in 2017. The combination of a part land/part cruise tour

was cool. The most beautiful place was where 16 lakes are connected by waterfalls. It was amazing.”

Donnie Anderson – “I just loved Newport on the Covered Bridges/Oregon Coast tour. I can see why it’s one of Mark’s favorite places. The Elizabeth Street Inn is so great, with your room facing the ocean. You can understand why some of our people go back there more than once.”

6 Days May 21-26 The 37th Anniversary

Musical Mystery Tour

Only 2 destinations are featured on this tour, we’ll call them “The Two C’s.” That means 2 nights in one place, 3 nights in the next. Or vice-versa. Or not. Maybe. 5 total nights in two destinations. We are sure of that.

This annual excursion celebrates the birthday of your tour company. In 2016, Sports Leisure turns 37. Remember what you were doing then you were 37? Shh, don’t tell us here.

Here are some clues, reprinted from the annual catalog. These are working men and women’s cities. One is named after an old TV show, and the second will remind you of the joy of discovery. The luck of the Irish is a good thing to bring with us, but if you don’t, we’ll get you some. One place you’ll visit has been producing “nuts” for over a hundred years. The kind you eat. We think.

Have you got rhythm of any kind? If you do, we have a place that will let your “inner music” come out, in a BIG way. One place produces 30,000 pounds of something every time it shifts.

Many people have forgotten about the 50’s, but we’ll bring them back to life. Plus all kinds of music are part of your adventure. The package includes accommodations in two treehouses (whatever that could mean), roundtrip air to the places you are going to and coming from, plus 12 meals. Tour Directors: Clayton and Mark.

7 Days Aug. 7-13 A Mystery Tour Celebrating

Our National Parks Centennial

2016 marks the 100th birthday of our National Park Service. To celebrate, we have created a Mystery Tour which visits a number of park sites we think you may not have visited. Don’t worry, there is no mountain climbing or bungee cord jumping. But there are lots of beautiful places to see and experience. State Parks, National Parks, Historic Sites, remember not all park locations are built around scenery, many are all about history. Here are a few clues about your travels:

Every great adventure should have a Yellow Brick Road, don’t you think? This trip is no exception. For those who think we are going to Kansas, think again. Picture yourself on the shores of a mighty lake or river, sailing along and viewing shapes carved by the winds of time. Many more people once lived here, but it isn’t a ghost town by any means. Since you are “exploring,” isn’t it appropriate one of your destinations is named for a famous sailor. We won’t “hound” you to go inside one attraction, but you will find generations of movement inside. In one place, putting in your “two cents worth” would be particularly appropriate.

If you love the great outdoors and like to learn, this is your trip. 15 meals, roundtrip air, Tour Directors: Mark and Chris. $3120 p.p./

Ports of call include Huahine, Bora Bora, Moorea and Taha’a in the Society Islands; plus Rangiroa and Fakarava. For the complete itinerary and cruise details, we invite you to visit our web site at www.sportsleisure.com and click on cruises. This tour requires a valid passport. $6495 p.p./dbl.

In Essex, ride a steam train on a lunch excursion, then board the riverboat Becky Thatcher for a cruise down the river. In Hartford, visit the Mark Twain home.
