Press the man ure direct to the stora ge placeThere are several solutions for transporting manure to themain storage via a cross channel. In many cases it is anadvantage to use the hydraulic system, either by running ascraper system that transports slurry to a pump pit, fromwhere it is pumped to the main storage, or by having aDeLaval manure press system take the slurry direct into themain store.

Save costs f or pump and pump pitDeLaval manure press K3000 is available for different con-ditions and can transport slurry from the cross channel to themain store, even if it is located above ground. The hydrauli-cally-operated press can transport the liquid manure up to 60meters and lift it up to 6 meter above the press. In this way,costs for pump pit and pump can be eliminated.

Safe operation with simple functions DeLaval slurry scraper DM is hydraulically operated, with-out any corner pulleys or chain/wire drive systems thatdemand a lot of space and maintenance. The power unit is alow noise power pack connected to a hydraulic cylinder foreach alley. One power pack can operate up to 5 units, aswell as a scraper system in the cross channel

The hydraulic cylinder is connected to a drawbar that movesback and forth, moving the scraper in steps. The drawbar isnormally placed in a recess in the centre of the alley, but canalso be installed on the flat floor in existing alleys.

The scraper moves in steps at low speed. As the scraperstops for a few seconds (during the return stroke of thecylinder), the animals are not stressed and they can easilymove away or step over it.

Power pac k High performance and low noise level Built-in oil filter efficiently cleans the hydraulic oil,

helping to extend the lifetime of all components. Smooth change over valve means easy operation and

gentle turns that do not disturb animals or personnel. Adjustable hydraulic pressure makes it possible to

optimise each plant to the actual conditions. For best operation, oil level and high temperature controls

can be added as an option.

Contr ol system Control system with different options for flexibility and

individual customisation. Manual or fully automatic function. Control of up to 6 alleys. Automatic return to start position. Easy shut-off of one or more alleys.

Drive unit Hydraulic cylinder specially designed for manure removal

in barns. The cylinder is both galvanised and powder painted. All other parts are galvanised.
