FacilitiesSLP's UK construction facilities have been deployed within the offshore energy industry for 40 years. Located in Lowestoft, Suffolk and on the River Tyne in Newcastle the group's facilities are ideally suited to Renewable Energy  projects. With a useable construction area of 25,000m2 at Lowestoft and 124,000m2 at Tyneside, incorporating purpose built load-out quays, SLP can build and transfer structures of up to 10,000 tonnes.  Onsite engineering, procurement offices, bulk storage, fabrication workshops, blasting and painting shops and construction areas ensure a smooth transition through the various phases of EPC and EPIC contracts. This 'self-contained' approach will meet the most stringent demands of today's fast track projects.  In addition to the UK, SLP has access through joint ventures and associations to additional construction facilities overseas.  These have successfully been deployed as far afield as Mexico, USA, Singapore, Iran and Qatar.
