From Spammy to Smart• Good content can (and should) be shared in various

formats

• Once converted to the various ways people like to consume it, it shouldn’t be “blasted” all over the web, neither should it be “spun.” That’s just spammy.

• The following slides shows how we do it at Escape The Matrix.

Notice how we distribute to ONE video site (Youtube) and ONE slide sharing site (Slideshare)

We don’t “spin and blast.”

Just post to the best places

EscapeTheMatrix.net

We only post to Youtube, because it has the biggest video following, and is the best platform.

We only post slides to Slideshare because it has the biggest slide deck following, and the best platform.

Differences

EscapeTheMatrix.net

Of course, Youtube is much bigger, with over a billion visitors per month.

But Slideshare doesn’t attract punks with their pants around their ankles. It’s a business platform.

Youtube is video, Slideshare is mostly slides.

Youtube viewers have low intent to buy. Slideshare visitors are generally business people.

Important Notes:

Slideshare CONSISTENTLY gets more viewers, more quickly, to my stuff

It’s not a “versus” thing though, why not put content on both?

I DO have videos that have gotten thousands of views on Youtube, but low numbers are the norm, where postings to Slideshare always seem to get eyeballs.
