What is a Bundle?

PeopleSoft delivers application software packages called “bundles” four times per year (quarterly). A bundle release contains four elements:

New software features

Capability enhancements

Fixes for known issues

Regulatory compliance items

Delivery

• Sequential application on an ongoing basis• Implement new functionality to meet immediate needs• Institutions no longer have to rely on costly, disruptive major upgrades• CDM customers must be on the same software release• All updates must be applied in sequential order• Bundle 35 is a prerequisite for Bundle 36

Enterprise Applications will continue to install the bundles

End users will participate in the Bundle install projects to ensure the software fixes and new capabilities meet LSCS standards and business processes

The NSLDS updates in this section are based on the August 2014 Draft of the 2015-2016 Record Layouts.Additional updates might be necessary when the final 2015-2016 EDE Technical Reference Guide is published (usually in October) and reviewed. Updates are usually delivered in the following bundle.

Starting with 2016 ISIR files, ACG and NSG data will no longer be transmitted.


Please note that bundle documentation (PDFs) may refer to Bundle 35/Bundle 42 throughout. You may ignore the Bundle 42 reference.

Defining ISIR Data Load Options 1Bundle 35. FM INAS for 2015-2016 is not yet available so INAS calculations during ISIR Load will not occur. Until FM INAS is available, do not select the Call INAS check box. When FM INAS is delivered, all ISIRs loaded with this setting can be processed using the batch INAS Calculation process.

Reviewing Cross ReferencesBundle 35. For this bundle, the 2015-16 ISIR SAR Cross-reference values are delivered but are just copied from the previous year. Oracle will deliver an update to these setup values in a future bundle.
