• Equality: Doesn’t cost to upload so anyone can potentially post their music without financial limitations.

• Freedom: They have the freedom to distribute their music without the need of a record label.

• Equality: Anyone can distribute music and there are no financial limitations and this gives everyone a fair chance at getting their music heard globally.

• “How do we earn a living when everyone is freely sharing their ideas?”

• This process of uploading and consuming music for free may negatively affect the music industry as current artists may struggle to compete against the “free music” and may find it difficult to earn a living because of this.
