o Cs are true Corners- Must be able to do a little man coverage but mostlyprotect against deep ball. Secondary run support.
o F/S is a bigger corner with similar responsibility.
o S/S is a more mobile LB with F/S responsibility as well as LB when rolledup.
o S/M/W all are discipline runners. (S/S types)
o DL are like most teams LBs
o EVERYONE MUST BE COACHABLE AND ABLE TO RUN!

o Align to take away hot pass #2 Standard 4 x 3
o Key Guard or play side OT
o RECOGNIZE - #2 Position to determine pass responsibility
o Pass = Shuffle Step & drop to Provided Flat Zoneo As drop is occurring read #2 & #1 WR to determine positioning.
o NEVER allow inside release = Reroute or Wall-Out!!!
o Preaching Point Never allow someone inside the box!
o Mike & Will
o Over guard or in position to fill man responsibility.
o Key Guard Always
o Even/Doubles - #2 to 15 Yards Exaggerate Depth
o Trips - #3 to 15 Yards Inside Wall-Out

o Key OT & QB drop depth
o PASS = DEEP THIRD RESPONSIBILITYo Backpedal while Reading Check QB drop
o Snap Turn once Read has been Determined.
o Stay 5 yards DEEPER and OUTSIDE the deepest WR.
o Free Safety
o 12-15 Yards deep between Goal Posts
o Key Tackle on Snap of Ball
o PASS = DEEP MIDDLE THIRD RESPONSIBILITY
o Stay 5 yards DEEPER than the deepest WR.

o Pass = JAM #2 receiver.
o Go with #2 to maximum of 15 yards and stay inside & underneatho If #2 crosses out of zone look for something return inside
o Preaching Point If you see a backside look for a face!!!

o If #3 in backfield Stop Run! If #3 in Trips Align to stop hot pass
o Key Guard Always
o Run = React & make Play
o Pass = Hole Drop to 20 Head on a swivel and pick up all inside routes

o Key = Uncovered Lineman
o JAM #1 and PREVENT from releasing outside
o If #1 goes deep sit at 12 and look for #2 coming in.
o If no #2 HELP DEEP
o If #1 goes inside, go with until you find #2 or reach hash
o Safeties
o On hash 15 yards deep
o Key = uncovered lineman & QB drop
o PASS = DEEP HALF RESPONSIBILITY
o Explode out & stay DEEP
