• Skyreach began operations in Brisbane in 1994, purchasing all new Boom and Scissor Lifts, at a time when other rental companies were supplying dated equipment imported from the United States.

• Skyreach are one of the largest rental suppliers of EWPs and Telehandlers on the East Coast of Australia, with eight branches spread from Melbourne all the way to Cairns.

• As a specialised EWP rental company, Skyreach focus on providing well-presented equipment, fi tted with the latest safety features, in conjunction with superior levels of customer service, back up, and support, in order to provide our customers a total rental solution.

• Skyreach’s rental fl eet is continually being renewed and updated with the latest in manufacturers’ technology - Skyreach can ensure that the fl eet remains one of the youngest in the country, and all of the equipment is fully compliant with current Australian Standards.

• All required OH & S certifi cations, risk assessments, and other supporting documentation can be provided upon request. Skyreach also provide certifi ed and approved attachments on EWPs and Telehandlers, and have the ability to design, build, and certify attachments for specialised tasks.

COMPANY ORGANISATION

• The company was founded by the Managing Director, Rod Leech in 1994, with the Nishio Group acquiring a stake of the business in April 2016. The Nishio Group is currently the 9th largest rental company in the world.

• The Skyreach Head Offi ce is located at Caboolture on Brisbane’s northern metropolitan outskirts. This facility was purpose-built in 2006, and comprises the main administration and mechanical workshops, and includes recycled water wash bays, a fully stocked spare parts store, and a fully equipped paint booth.

• Skyreach have Rental Branches in Brisbane (2), Melbourne, Sydney, Dalby, Mackay, Townsville, and Cairns - each fully supported by a comprehensive rental fl eet, a hire control department, a rental sales team, a mechanical workshop, and mobile fi eld service vehicles.

• Skyreach have a wide variety of attachments for EWPs and Telehandlers. These attachments include: Pipe Racks, Panel Lifters, and Reo Bar Lifters for EWPs, as well as Jib and Hook attachments for Telehandlers.

• With over 100 employees, Skyreach recognise that the main asset to any company is their people, and as a consequence, invest heavily in the development, training, and retention of employees.

• The Skyreach Service Teams are all fully qualifi ed and regularly undergo manufacturers’ training programs for all equipment to continually update them on new technologies, procedures, regulations, safety, and standards in the industry.

• The Rental Sales Team is fully trained in the operation of equipment and all competently and confi dently able to provide on-site inspections to advise customers on the best possible machine required to safely complete each job.

• Skyreach has specialist OH & S personnel to oversee daily safety and compliance. They can provide Hazard & Risk Assessments, Safety and Equipment Specifi cations, and all relevant certifi cation and compliance paperwork.

• Head Offi ce at Caboolture also incorporates the Spare Parts Store and Central Purchasing Centre. Specialist parts interpreters ensure adequate stock levels of the most used parts, oils, and fl uids. They continually re-stock all Branches to minimise customer waiting time and ensure machines are able to be rapidly redeployed on the “Ready-To-Go” rental line.

• The development of employees has allowed Skyreach to provide career planning, promotion and opportunities from within the organisation, resulting in a skilled, highly performing, cohesive, and loyal team culture.

The extensive variety of equipment within each product range is Skyreach’s key strength, ensuring that customers always have the correct equipment to suit each specific application.

As new advancements become available in EWP technology, Skyreach ensures it invests in equipemnt that provide a higher and heavier lift with improved work envelope and safety features for the benefits of its customers.


The comprehensive Skyreach range includes slab or rough terrain performance, with diesel, electric, and hybrid units, as well as off ering extension decks on most models.

Boom Lifts provide excellent access to diffi cult to reach areas and still allow mobility whilst elevated.

Knuckle Booms provide the best range of “up and over” access, whilst still allowing mobility. They are available in diesel, electric, and hybrid models.

There is nothing better equipped to lift, carry and elevate loads to signifi cant heights whilst retaining mobility on the job. Available with a range of hook, jib and other attachments.

FIELD SERVICE SUPPORT

SERVICE WORKSHOPS

All Skyreach branches are supported by fully equipped workshops. The Service Team tradesmen are fully trained and conversant on all equipment that is carried in the fleet. Workshop staff receive ongoing in-house training, as well as manufacturers’ training and updates on all new technologies incorporated in the equipment. Each machine is subjected to an “off-hire” inspection after every hire, which is the equivalent to a 3 monthly (quarterly) inspection, as prescribed in the Australian Standards.

Branches are supported by dependable Field Service Teams, set up with fully equipped service vehicles, including mine specification vehicles in the areas that may require them. Skyreach’s Field Service Support is truly a genuine 24 hour, 7 days a week operation – customers are guaranteed that Skyreach is available whenever they are required.

Skyreach take absolutely no shortcuts in service and presentation, with the overarching focus is to ensure that the safety and reliability of equipment always come first.


ON SITE INSPECTIONS

TRANSPORT

The Skyreach Rental Sales Team are problem solvers and fully conversant with the entire range of Skyreach equipment. Skyreach's on-site Area Managers always recommend the most applicable and cost effective machines to execute each job. This gives customers complete peace of mind knowing that they will be supplied with the correct EWP to complete their job.

Skyreach also has its own fleet of delivery vehicles - major frontline assets. These trucks range from small Tilt Trays up to Semi Trailer Super Tilt vehicles and are fully fitted with the equipment and safety features required to carry machines onto any site. This transport fleet is supported with local or subcontract carriers, who also comply with Skyreach’s standards. All drivers are trained in the safe operation, loading, and unloading of equipment.

This compliments the Skyreach rental fleet range and its 24/7 Service Team.


ATTACHMENTS & ACCESSORIES

Skyreach also design, build, and certify attachments that secure to EWPs and Telehandlers. This means that not only can Skyreach provide the standard manufacturer-approved attachments, such as Pipe Racks and Panel Lifters, but also have the ability to build attachments suited to customers’ specifi c tasks. Skyreach provide Hazard & Risk Assessments, Compliance, and Certifi cation paperwork with each attachment.

YOUR RENTAL AND WHAT’S SUPPLIED WITH ITSkyreach deliver their rental machines supplied with the following:

• Grey Card: displays the date of manufacture, serial number, Skyreach plant number, date of last Annual Inspection and the issuing Service Technician’s name.

• Log book: for the licensed operator to complete on a daily or shift-change basis.

• A copy of the last “off -hire” inspection report.

• A copy of the last Annual Inspection Certifi cate.

• Operator’s handbook: for the type and model of machine supplied.

• Machine Risk Assessment.

A green “Ready for Rent” tag denoting that it is ready for rent and displaying the last service date – this is affi xed to the platform or basket.
