Our College offers four Under Graduate programs B.A, B.Sc, B.Com & BBA and Seven Post Graduate programs viz.,Kannada, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Journalism and Commerce. The college provide Smart classrooms, digitalized Library with good number of titles for reference and circulation. Added to this e-books and Journals for UG & PG. We have seven Laboratories with advanced adequate facilities.
Our teaching staff are highly qualied, dedicated and adopted effective teaching methods provide quality education to students. In turn our students registered their performances by bagging Ranks to university every year in both UG & PG.
Our students are encouraged to take up extra curricular activities, Sports, NCC & NSS for the overall development of their personality. Women Empowerment cell, Anti-ragging cell, Counseling cell contribute to maintain discipline & harmony of the campus. Placement cell support students to acquire proper career paths to suit global challenges.

About College
Sri Kolli Nageshwara Rao Gangaiah Govt First Grade College established by Government of Karnataka in 1993, is the leading College of Koppal District imparting continuous Quality higher education to all sectors of the society.
The institution located in sprawling 3.28 acres campus on Anegundi Road, a pleasant outskirt of Gangavathi. The campus is away from noise and pollution providing ideal ambience for higher academic pursuit.
A bird's eye view on the history of the development of the College reveals not only the infra structural growth but also multiple fold increase in enrollment to various courses offered. The institution is affiliated to Vijayanagar Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Bellary.

FACILITIES OF COLLEGE
Library and Reading Room The College houses more than 32000 books pertaining
to various subjects with good number of titles. In addition e- books Encyclopedia, Journals, CDs, etc are also available to the students of the college. Adequate Reading Room facility also provided.
Laboratories
The college has Seven laboratories equipped with modern instruments and required facilities to carry out experiments in various departments namely Physics-2 Chemistry-2 Computer Sciences Botany and Zoology.
IQAC/NAAC
IQAC and NAAC committees function continuously to ensure overall academic development of the college and strives hard promote higher education.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The institution has a very active Physical Education Department which trains and encourages student to participate in the inter collegiate, state level Athletic and sports events

Regarding employment and carrier opportunities for the students placement cell has been established in our institution. It also facilitates campus interview. Entrepreneurship development programs arranged every year.

TQM:
The college has trained facilitators in Total Quality Management and Human Resource Management, who organizes orientation program for first year students and feel employable —workshop for developing employability skills in final year students.
ANNUAL MAGAZINE:
The college publishes the annual college magazine which reflects the hidden talents of the students and give expression to the suitable sensibility of the students. The magazine contains the poetry, stories, articles, criticism, short poems, and artistic expression of students.
HERITAGE CLUB: The heritage club was established in our institution in the year 2010 as per the direction of Commissioner Department of Collegiate Education. The club is active to undertake number of programs such as protection of monuments and lakes and other programs.
