SKILLS DEVOLPMENT REVERSING FOOTAGE POWDER PAINT FACE SHOT

To create the effect I wanted within my music video, I decided to reverse the footage of the powder paint being thrown.

To change the duration of my clip, I right clicked and chose ‘speed and duration’…

Then there is a box in which you can control the speed, for many of my of my clips I increased the speed to speed up the content. However to reverse the footage, I ticked the box ‘reverse speed’ and then slowed it down as well, by halving the speed.

I changed the speed of a good proportion of my footage, as this allowed me to create the effect/style that I wanted too. It worked especially well in capturing the full effect of the powder paint.
