Kath’s 50th These Photo’s are from Kath Grimes 50th Birthday girlie weekend away. November 2009 at Centre Parks, Longleat. Brilliant weekend spent bowling (a very new experience for Carol, and we will say no

more!), swimming around and around the rapids, at least 100 times, and all the shoots and slides in the tropical paradise, typical water babies. We then went out for dinner, with lots of drinks, and chocolate puddings. But boating was not far from our minds, but all we could find was a pedalo! (see cover photo) We did lots of other things like walking, drinking, horse riding, drinking, the sauna, drinking and then some more drink-ing!! Unfortunately, Kath made one big mistake on the book-ing form - she only booked one bed (JW-this ones for you). Rachel

70’s party 2009

I’m going to keep this short and sweet this month but I will be putting together a more comprehensive social calendar for next month’s ski line. Here we go then: 11th of April The Somerset Three peaks Challenge. Have a look at Tracy’s report. I

hope we can make it an annual event. 24th of April Weston ski club slipping in party at the pav. Toga is the theme for the night

and there will be some food and a raffle so please bring something along for you to win Start time 19.30hr. Bit of boating before we hope.

1 2 & 3 of May We are all off to Lyme for part or all of the bank holiday. Let’s hope its nice f not we will stay in Weston and drink at the pav.

7 8th of May Lyme Ski race weekend 17 18th May Lechlade lake we all know how good it is there so please come and have

a good time with us 22nd or 29th May We are going to have a horse racing night at the pav will let you know as

soon as the date has been fixed for it. Please bring your friends along to this event.

5th & 6th June There all off racing at Hunstanton so we can all have fun on the water with-out them on this weekend. Good luck all you Weston skiers.

12th & 13th June it’s the Marnham weekend so fun fun fun I hope. All are welcome to come and watch. If you can’t make it we all hope you have a nice weekend in Weston bay skiing.

14th 15th & 16th It lechlade again the best place in the hole world to ski so you should be getting yourselves down there with us.

19th June it was going to be are race day but as we all know the sea front will still be a mess. But we are going to try and have a fancy dress boating event. We had one of these two years ago and it went very well. I have invited the Lyme lot down for this one as they won’t be doing a lot that weekend. There might be a price and cup for the best turned out boat and crew.

26th & 27th June Free weekend for all us none racing lot. There all off to the Diamond Race in Belgium. Good luck for anyone who is taking part in that one.

3rd & 4th July It’s another Race weekend but this one is in Brixham so come on down for what is normally a great weekend. If your willing to do some Safety boating you may be able to bring your boat with you as well. Please contact myself if you would be up for that.
