PUTTING SKETCHNOTING TO WORK
• I started out with some presentations done at my own speed and used to explain assignments.
• In meetings I started sketching.
• I challenged my students to produce sketchnotes for assignment submissions.
• I started sharing online.
USING WITH OLDER KIDS/ADULTS
• Starter activity…baby steps…sketch a quotation. Maybe try both computer and hand drawing and compare.
• TAKING NOTES—either from you or from a podcast
• Incorporate into research projects
• Draw song lyrics. Then stories. Then books.
• Research reports
