Higher Education Fair 27th June 2012 – Have you applied for a place?



The Higher Education Fair consists of representatives from over 120 universities and organisations

and is run by UCAS and Anglia Ruskin University. The event provides an opportunity for year 12 students in schools and colleges as well as people from all over Essex to discover the opportunities for university study available across the country Students will be able to talk with representatives from universities and colleges and collect prospectuses and leaflets on courses. You can find out more about the courses by listening to around 30 specialist speakers. There will be advice on applying for courses, financing studies and other important topic areas. This is the definitive event for those considering higher education. We will provide coach travel to Chelmsford the cost for the day is only £8. Please bring your cheque to Mrs Titford in H1 as soon as possible. If you require another letter – please ask.

Work Experience 2012 9th to 20th July

I am sad to say that many Year 12 students have not met the original work experience deadline or the extended deadlines and have not informed me of their employer’s details so that I can confirm the placement directly with the employer and make sure all legalities are in place. Please may I request that these details are submitted no later than Friday 11th May. Students have had since December 2011 to complete this process and weekly reminders to organise themselves.
