2. SITE SURVEY CHECK LIST

The purpose of the site survey is to check the progress of applicable civil / RFI works &

identifying any shortcomings or potential problems prior to installation.

When applicable, civil / RFI works must be completed, before the site will be

considered ready for the Installation.

It is the responsibility of the Installation Supervisor to determine whether or not a site is

ready for installation, and whether a Site Survey Report is necessary. A site could be

rejected by NOKIA if:

Safety to personnel may be compromised.

Civil / RFI work is not of the required standard.

Insufficient utilities.

Following Documents needs to be enclosed along with Site Folder.

A. Site Survey (RFI) Checklist, completed & sign Copy.

B. Complete Site with BTS As-built Drawing.

C. Few Photographs of installation (BTS, optical cable, Jumper & Antenna

installation): Picture Checklist (PCL)

D. Site Self Assessment Checklist with Zero Punch Points.

E. SDR Checklist.

F. BTS Commissioning Report.

G. VSWR report (Antenna / Jumpers)

4.1 Preparations

Check the availability of necessary documents and test

equipments needed for commissioning.

Check the installation of plug-in units.

Check all the interconnection cables for modules.

Prepare test equipment ready.

Check polarity of Power cable in the BTS and then power-up the

BTS.
