Towards enhancement of the SIT campus :
1. Compound wall construction: As there was no proper compound for so many
years, the height of the compound wall in front of administrative building has been
raised for four feet height and 560 feet length as the national highways level was
raised substantially.
Further since long there was no firm compound in front of Play ground and Hostel.
For a total length of 324 feet with a height of 8 feet brick masonry wall was
constructed to secure the boundary of the institution. In continuation to this,
compound wall was finished in front of the SIT hostel with an additional height of
4 feet for a length of 320 feet was also constructed with brick masonry wall.
The total expenses for this project were Rs. 21.12 lakhs, spent from SES funds
with Management approval.
2. Students corner: Established a Student’s corner & reprography center near
Canteen to facilitate students to buy stationary items and take photocopies. This
facility will avoid the movement of the students across the NH which is subjected
to heavy traffic.
3. Platform of size 60’ x 40’ lay with paver blocks, near Mechanical lab marked for
students dining & rest area. Subsequently this place will be constructed with a
light roof shed.
4. Work in progress to extend the service area of the Bank of India situated in our
Campus.
