With nearly 40 years of experience, SIRIO PANEL is a world

leader in designing and manufacture of integrally

illuminated information panels for commercial and military

NVIS compatible applications. SIRIO PANEL broads a full

range of technologies: Electroluminescent (EL),

Incandescent Lamps or Light Emitting Diode (LED)

backlighting.

SIRIO PANEL developed an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) to absolve the function of

Dimming Light Controllers (DLC) of the LED backlight of the lighted panels. DLC also controls the

annunciators and lighted Push Buttons usually installed on the panel assemblies. Lighted panels are

usually powered by 28Vdc and LED-dimming control is performed by Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) or

analogue signals generated by Dimming Units (Equipment also developed and manufactured by SIRIO

PANEL).
