Siribhoovalaya – An Overview • Siriboovalaya – Is a Kannada Literary Work which is entirely
written in Kannada Numerals (probably the only book in the world that is written completely in Numbers)
• This work was written by “Sage Kumudendu” (A Jain Muni) in the period of around 800 AD
• Sage Kumudendu hails from (Yelavalli) Nandi, Near Bangalore
• The book comprises of 1270 Number Charts in form of a 27 x 27 Matrix
• These 27 x 27 matrices comprise of 64 numbers which are kannada numerals in 56 Chapters

Siribhoovalaya – An Overview • These 64 kannada numerals are assigned respective – phonetic
kannada alphabets
• The matrices are transposed and read in defined patterns (called as “bandhas”)
• Sage Kumudendu claims, Lie hidden in the work are 718 languages and 18 scripts.
• Research has proven that, apart from Kannada, several languages like Prakrita, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Oriya, Gujarati, Marathi, Persian and Turkish have been woven into this text
• The text also contains the Vedas and complete epics of Ramayana & Mahabharata
• The work also gives abundant information regarding alchemy, the science of matrimony, atomic science, space science, medical science & production of modern weapons
• The author also claims that the work contains instructions for travel in water and space travel.
