DESIGN FOR CHANGE
Design for Change is a global movement designed to
give young people an opportunity to express their own ideas for
a better world and put them into action. Children and adults
alike discover through the Design for Change Challenge that “I
Can” are the two most powerful words a person can believe.
Children who have discovered this are changing their world.
The contest asked our stu-
dents to do three very simple
things: Feel, Imagine, and
Do. What the contest made
visible was that this frame-
work inspired children
across the world to say "I
Can!"
Our Children of 8th standard designed and imple-
mented projects that really touched the heart of whole world .
Children did with brilliant ideas. In our Siragu Campus on

visited Rathinagiri Bâla Murugan Temple which was built around the 14th century. Over the pas-sage of time an ordinary sand structure was converted into a stone shrine.
Greatness of the Shrine:
Ancient Hindu scriptures say that wherever there is a hill, Lord Murugan resides as the all-powerful Deity. Of these Ti-rupparamkundram, Tiruchen-dur, Tiruvavinankudi, Tiruver-agam and Palamuthircholai are famous shrines, collec-tively called 'Kundruthoradal'. The holy shrine at Rathi-nagiri also features in this category.
Literary Evidence: The 14th Century poet Arunagirinathar has sung about this temple as Rathinakiri Vazh Murukane Ilaya Vaaramarar Perumaley', which means 'Murugan, the God of Devas resides in Rathinagiri'.
Divine Blessings The Omnipotent Power manifests His Blessings to man-kind in three forms:
1. In the form of idol in the shrine.
2. In the form of the guru.
3. In the form of the devotee.
Of these three, Lord Bâlamurugan manifests himself at Rathinagiri in two forms. The first is in the form of the deity with his two consorts Valli and Teyvanai. The sec-ond is in the form of our Guru, Swami Bâlamurugan

The Madras series of observations had commenced in 1787(1786)* through the efforts of a member of the Madras Government - William Petrie - who had in his possession two three-inch achromatic telescopes, two astronomical clocks with compound pendulums and an excellent transit instrument. This equipment formed the nucleus of instrumentation of the new observatory, which soon embarked on a series of observations of the stars, the moon, and eclipses of Jupiter's satellites, with the accurate determination of longitude, as its first concern.

Its proponents variously claim that it relieves pain, treats infertility, treats disease, prevents disease, promotes general health, or can be used for therapeu-tic purposes. Acupuncture being effective beyond the placebo effect has never been proven, except some pain relieving applications, though the latter results are somewhat inconsistent as well. Acupuncture typically incorporates traditional Chinese medicine as an inte-gral part of its practice and theory
