Origin from MMI, Founded in 1972 as China Metallurgical Equipment Corporation (Ab. as MECC).

A professional international engineering company in metallurgical, mining , energy, and infrastructure fields.

Joined in Sinosteel in 1999，One of the most important subsidiary of Sinosteel Corporation , known as Sinosteel MECC. Listed in China Stock Exchange Market after approval by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Committee （SASAC），and State Council on 2nd Sep, 2014. One of few companies with commitment to capital investors with annual net profit increase rate of 5% in the next three years.
