ni fauna. Él, uno de los sobrevivientes, pasa sus
días deambulando y buscando pastillas, que se han convertido en el
alimento de los seres humanos, hasta que
encuentra un lugar que cambia su rutina.

Lic. en Artes Audiovisuales por la Universidad de Guadalajara y socio fundador de la casa productora Nahuyaca Films, en donde se ha desempeñado como realizador y editor cinematográfico.
Sus cortometrajes La Caja de Emilio, El Castillo y La Banda de San Cosmo han participado en numerosos festivales alrededor del mundo y obtenido diversos reconocimientos por su propuesta cinematográfica; mejor cor tometraje en el 7o. Festival Internacional Latino San Francisco Bay Area; Selección oficial en el 31o. Festival de cine Iberoamericano de Huelva, España; Selección oficial Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia 2010; Finalista en el AXN Film Festival; Selección oficial en el 21 Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara, entre otros.
Editor y postproductor de los cortometrajes Prita Noire (Ariel a mejor cortometraje de animación 2012) y La Casa Triste (Ganador del premio Ojo a mejor cortometraje de animación en el FICM2013) de Sofía Carrillo. Así como El Viejo (Mayahuel por mejor cortometraje mexicano FICG20) de Paola Chaurand y los largometrajes documentales Hasta el último trago corazón de Beto Gómez y Make up de Pavel Cortés.
Su trabajo más reciente como editor, Cerulia, de Sofía Carrillo, obtuvo el premio Rigo Mora como mejor animación iberoamericana en el 32 Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara, premio Coral mejor Animación en el Festival Internacional del nuevo cine latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba, y fue parte de la selección oficial SITGES 2017, España.
Con su cortometraje apocalíptico “Coamil” obtuvo el 2do. lugar en la categoría ficción del ECOFILM Festival 2017.
Biografía del director
Bachelor of Audiovisual Arts degree from the University of Guadalajara and a founding member of the production company Nahuyaca Films where he has been active as film director and editor.
His short films Emilio’s Box, Fireworks and San Cosmo’s Band have been screened in festivals throughout the world and received numerous awards due to their cinematic sensibilities; best narrative short at the 7th. International Latino Film Festival San Francisco Bay Area; Official selection at the 31 Huelva Film Festival, Spain; Official selection at the Morelia International Film Festival 2010; Finalist at the AXN Film Festival; Official selection at the 21 Guadalajara International Film Festival, among others.
He is the editor and postproducer of the short films Prita Noire (Ariel award to best animation short 2012) and The Sad House (The eye award to best animation short Morelia International Film Festival 2013) by Sofía Carrillo, The Last Breath (Mayahuel award to best mexican short 20 Guadalajara International Film Festival) by Paola Chaurand and the feature documentary films Till the last drop… My love! by Beto Gómez and Make-up by Pavel Cortés.
His latest work as editor is the stop-motion short film Cerulia by Sofía Carrillo, which received the Rigo Mora award for Best Iberoamerican Animated Film at the 32nd Guadalajara International Film Festival, best animation Coral at the Habana Film Festival, and was part of the official selection at SITGES 2017, Spain.
He recently won 2nd place at ECOFILM Festival 2017 with his post apocalyptic narrative short film Three sisters.
