Kudos to all of you who entered your works of art. Phyllis Campbell and her committee did a wonderful job of planning and setting up the show. The traveling exhibit was truly “out of this world.” The vendors seemed pleased with their sales. Georgy and the Loveable Leftover Ladies had a very good sale. (My stash has grown “a little.”) It’s amazing what can be accomplished when so many of us come together and work for a common goal! A big thank to every one of you for all your hard work. It doesn’t seem possible that this is my last message to you as president. The year has gone by quickly. Anne Biedowicz and I had the unique opportunity to switch back and forth for meetings. It allowed us to meet, interact with, and get to know many more of you. Being on the Board really is a privilege and an education. By pooling our gifts and talents and working together for the common good of the Guild we keep our organization alive. I am grateful for the hard work and support of the Board and committees, all of you who volunteer for everything and for all the various donations given throughout the year. Our meeting attendance was light in May since so many of you were working on the Quilt Show. Be sure to check the website for the Slate of Officers presented at the meeting to be voted on at the June meeting. The proposed budget will also be voted on at the same time; it too was presented at the May meeting. Copies of it will be available at our June meeting. Remember to vote at the June meeting. I am very appreciative of serving as the president of Sinnissippi Quilters, Inc this past year. Our programs and workshops allow us to pursue and learn the art of quilting. We use our skills to benefit others within our community such as the NICU’s and the Rescue Mission and our own members. We have done our best to be good stewards of the Guild’s monies and donations. Enjoy the summer: quilt some, get outdoors, learn something new and spend time with friends. Fly Me To The Moon: An Art Quilt Journey

Our quilt show featured 60 quilts from this collection, and was a very popular exhibit for our attendees. The book pictures all

179 quilts, along with their stories, and is a fantastic celebration of the 50th

Anniversary of the first moon landing in 1969, and all space travel. We have

several copies left to sell priced at $30.00, no tax. The guild benefits from each sale!

Father’s Day and the July 1969 anniversary are coming up - this would be

a wonderful gift. Please contact Phyllis Campbell to reserve your copy. Thanks!
