Singapore’s first non-residentialbuilding with BCA Green Mark(Platinum) (2015) has adopted asustainability framework through anintegrated approach that encompassesenvironmental, social and economicperformances. Smart technologies andsolutions such as drones and BIM areused as part of the building operationsto enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The five-storey building, which addsover 8,600m2 of teaching and learningspace to SMU’s city campus, boasts ahybrid structural system of MassEngineered Timber, structural steelframes, prefabricated façade andinstalled prefabricated Mechanical,Electrical and Plumbing modules for itsmechanical and electrical services.

Singapore’s latest completed IntegratedConstruction and Prefabrication Hub isa multi-storey advanced manufacturingfacility for the production of precastconcrete components, with a highdegree of mechanisation.
