ATTIRE1. Participants are required to be neatly and appropriately dressed

for all sessions of the competition.

REGISTRATION 1. Registration Form is available at www.rs-event.sg

2. A completed entry form consists of the following:

4. Participants will be informed by 3 April on their competition schedules.

5. All participants must perform live. No video submission is accepted.

6. Your registration form must be complete with the instruments and equipment that are needed for your performance. Any changes after the registration deadline may be declined by the organising committee. In situations where changes are accepted, there will be an administrative fee of $20.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS 1. Registration fee is not refundable.

2. Participants will be assessed on: Musicality 40%, Technique 40%, Stage Presentation 20%

3. For Guitar Ensemble category, the corresponding email will be sent to the group leader.

4. Guitar teachers and professional musicians are welcomed to join: • Classical Guitar Artist Category • Acoustic Guitar Artist Category • Ukulele Open Category but not other categories, e.g. Guitar Ensemble.

5. All participants who perform with backing tracks should submit them by 17 April 2020. Only MP3 and WAV files will be accepted.

6. All participants are responsible for all sound tracks copyright issue. The organising committee is not responsible for copyright disputes (if any). The participant shall be liable for any loss and damage caused to the organising committee in the event of any dispute.

7. The organiser reserves the right to cancel any competition categories due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by the organiser, the registration fees will be fully refunded.

8. On the day of the competition, participants are to adhere to the order of performance which will be decided by the organising committee. No adjustment to the competition schedule will be made should the participant fail to turn up at the stipulated timing due to personal reasons.

9. Participants are required to report at the respective venue 20 minutes prior to their allocated time. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants who arrive later than the scheduled time.

10. On the day of the competition, participants may be required to verify their identity and age with any photo ID that has their dates of birth (NRIC, passport, etc).

12. The organiser will do audio or video recording and photography. Any participants who want to do audio or video photography must inform the organiser in advance. Video recording or photography shall not interrupt the competition. The organiser reserves the right to suspend the recording or photography during the competition. By joining the competition, participants agree for the materials to be used for future publicity.

13. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organising committee is final.
