The historical Olympic House has many faces and offerssomething special for everyone. The restaurant provides space for approximately 160 people.Whether you just want to enjoy a nice meal or havesomething to celebrate – our guest room offers a lot ofpossibilities.

The cozy parlor holds up to 55 people and is just right fora small celebration. No matter if you want to be leftundisturbed or just simply sit comfortably together.The lively terrace with its unique view at the ski jump hasroom for 160 people. If you are lucky you can watchsome youngsters in training.

In order to hold a meeting in smaller groups, it is possibleto separate a part of our guest room with The stunning viewat the ski jump.It is also possible to hold a meeting directly at the inside of the ski jump tower. for further information please contact us.

You can also make a guided torchlight hike trough thefamous „Partnachklamm“. Afterwards, the Olympic houseawaits you with a cozy fondue meal and a hot mulledwine drink.

Our special highlight:A veal sausage meal in the „Eckbauer“ gondola. Curious? Please don’t hesitate to ask us.

The Olympic House - Tradition and Today

You are at one of the most historic venues in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Here, in 1936, the Winter Olympic games were opened.

The Olympic House is a remnant of the original exterior.

The stadium itself, as it appears today, was built for afurther planned Olympic event in 1940 which was prevented by the war.

In 1978 the opening ceremony of the World SkiChampionships was also held in this place.

In 2007, the old ski jump was demolished and in only 7 months of construction today‘s jump was built.

In January 2008 the first New Year’s Ski Jumping tookplace on the new hill.

On the right handside of the ski jump you’ll find the WorldCup slalom slope. After a few alterations, the races of theSki World Cup 2011 were held at this spot.

Thanks to the intelligent construction of the ski jump, the historical tradition of the stadium has been successfully combined with the modern developments of the sport.
