PASSPORT PROCEDURE
STEP 1.
Download the e-Form through the "Download e-Form" link available on the Home Page.
http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/downloadEFormStatic
Fill the downloaded e-Form and click the Validate and Save button in it
This will generate an XML file, which will be required later for uploading in the system.
STEP 2
Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal
https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/user/RegistrationBaseAction?request_locale=en
Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the registered Login
STEP 3
Click the "Pay and Schedule Appointment" link on the "View Saved/Submitted Applications" screen
to schedule an appointment.
Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all Passport Seva Kendras.
Online Payment can be made using any one of the following modes:
A. Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa)
B. Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks Only)
C. SBI Bank Challan
STEP 4
Click the "Print Application Receipt" link to print the application receipt containing Application Reference
Number (ARN)/Appointment Number
STEP 5
Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) where appointment has been booked, along with original documents
ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS
PROOF OF PRESENT ADDRESS
Any one of following document needed but if possible carry both the documents for fast processing
Telephone (landline or postpaid mobile bill)
Electricity bill
Two Year Consecutive Bill - For Example:
If one telephone bill is on April 2014 than one year old April 2013 also need to be present
PROOF OF DATE OF BIRTH (DOB)
Any one of following document needed but if possible carry both the documents for fast processing
Birth certificate
School leaving certificate
TAKE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS OF ABOVE ALONG WITH 2-3 XEROX OF EACH
