Dilian is 6.3cm (2.5”) tall while Mayee is 6cm (2.4”). The size of the finished doll varies with the yarn and tension. This pattern is to be worked in rounds, mark the last stitch of each row with a stitch marker or small safety pin. To avoid confusion, abbreviation is provided here. Materials required: Yarn type: 4 ply Acrylic Yarn - 18 WPI Colors used: Dilian: Brown (hair), Black (attire/shoes), Red (bow tie), Taupe (skin), White (shirt button)

Mayee: Brown (hair), White (dress/veil), Pink (hair ring), Cream (skin) Crochet hook: Tulip brand hook size 1/0 (1.75mm); you may use any hook that is appropriate for 4 ply yarn Fill: Polyfill or Fibrefill Needle: Sewing needle Smile/Eyes: Pink embroidery floss for smile; Brown for eyes (Optional) Chain: Chain for hooking up the doll (Keychain is suitable if desired) Jumpring: To connect the head of doll to the chain Special Note:

WPI (Wrap Per Inch) To measure the WPI of the yarn, wrap the yarn over a ruler, till it reaches 1 inch, count the number of wraps, and you will obtain the WPI. The 4 ply yarn I am using in this pattern measures 18 WPI; while the 8 ply yarn I have measures 15 WPI.

Dillian 1. Sew hair to head 2. Sew head to body 3. Sew arms to body 4. Sew legs to body bottom 5. Sew bow tie to body 6. Sew button stitch 7. Embroider eyes and smile

Mayee 1. Sew hair to head 2. Sew head to body 3. Sew arms to body 4. Sew plaits to hair 5. Sew veil to hair 6. Embroider eyes and smile

Magic Loop

Coil yarn around finger (2 rounds) Pull out coiled yarn and hold Insert hook into loop and pull yarn

Sc as per pattern instruction Tighten the loops by adjusting both coiled yarn, till tight Change Yarn Color

On last st of first color yarn, pull through with alternate color yarn Tie both yarns together

Pull tight, continue to work with alternate yarn as per instruction
