COMPLEX MACHINES
• When we put two or more simple machines together, we get a complex machine.
• A complex machine is made up of:• CASING is the outer part of the machine. It protects
the machine.• OPERATIONAL PARTS are the individual components of
the machine (wheels, axles, levers…)• MECHANISM is a group of components which work
together to perform a specific function.• ENGINE (fuel) or MOTOR (different energy source) is
the part of the machine which produces movement.
