Innovation through the parrallel exploration of technology,

commercialisation and social trends.

Tasking myself with the challenge to design,

photograph and repor t upon a product a day for

30 days straight was no easy feat. A challenge I

looked forward to and as the days progressed

begun to feel a relation to that of sailing the open

Ocean.

Ideas at the beginning of the month Ideas at the beginning of the month were rigid,

traditional and although innovative lacked the free

flowing thought that sailing had allowed. The first

ten days of the month included a wind powered

washing machine, weather station, leather goods

and modular shelving.

As time moved on so did my creativity, curiosity

and natural ability to combine ideas, objects and

imagination. After an intense 30 day exploration

of design within my environment and myself, I

found that there were endless possibilities when it

came to reinvention and innovation.
