This is Melkor ….

To the west of Thangorodrim is Hisilome, the land of mist. Fingolfin lived near the shores of this land and his calvaries rode in the plains of grass all the way to Thangorodrim. But Fingon lived in Dor-lomin.

Nevrast lays to the west of Dor-lomin. These are the coast lands of Turgon the wise, Fingolfin’s son. Here, the Grey-Elves of Noldor live near Mount Taras.

Finarfin watched fields of Ardogalen unfer the s lopes of Dorthonion Angrod and Aegnor, where the land was barren and Melkor would not likely cross .

the Shadowy Mountains ran the

R iver Sirion.

Renowned in song, the river became fuller

with the streams of the mountains. The river flowed then to

Nargothrong.

On the River Sirion, Finrod built a mighty watch tower, Minas Tirith, where his brother Orodreth was kept.

He was the eldest son of Finarfin and became founder and king of Nargothrond. He then befriended the green elves as Melkor and the Orcs entered into Beleriand through a whole in the mountains.

These elves inhabited Ossiriand and became friends with Finrod Felagund since he was the first one to encounter these elves because of his curious sense of adventure and exploration.
