GREETINGS DEAR PARTICIPANTS, Thank you for coming to SIITME 2011 Conference. It has become a long tradition TOGATHERINFALLTIMEFORTHISSCIENTICEVENTMEMBERSOFTHEELECTRONICPACKAGINGcommunity from industry and academia. As usual, the meeting takes place in a city from the eastern part of Central Europe and this time it is the beautiful city of Timioara, the capital of Banat County, Romania. Today Timioara is one of the most important regions in Romania for the electronics INDUSTRY4HEhAGSHIPiOFTHISINDUSTRYIS#ONTINENTAL!UTOMOTIVEDEEPLYINVOLVEDin the Research & Development, as well as Manufacturing of electronic modules. In fact, Continental Automotive activities are the main topics of our conference and we hope for the future to have a consistent joint presence of industry and academia in SIITME papers. As conference Chairmen, we are honored to be surrounded by a diligent and steadfast organizing committee. In addition, an event like SIITME 2011 would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, so we would like to thank them and highlight Continental Automotive Romania, Alfa Test and COMTEST as our Premium Sponsors. Special remarks and deeply gratitude to the Romanian National !UTHORITY FOR 3CIENTIC 2ESEARCH!.#3 FOR THE CONSTANT SUPPORT OF THE 3))4-%EVENTS,ASTBUTNOTLEASTWEWOULDLIKETOEXPRESSOURGRATITUDETOTHEh0OLITEHNICAiUniversity of Timisoara, where the Faculty for Electronics and Telecommunication played a very important role in organizing the event.

Wine is a product of nature and in the past this was recognised and celebrated in religion and in art. There is a beautiful legacy of artefacts for making, ageing, drinking, storing, opening and presenting wine. These are relics of Chinese, Roman, Greek and Egyptian historical periods, items of mysterious charm as well as offering tantalising insights into their day to day lives.
