Facilities
This cutting edge technology tool room with CNC
machine centers and a state-of-the-art sheet metal press
shop imported from the best in the world (The one of
its kind in North India) has power presses ranging
from 25 to 250 tons with Automatic De-coilers, Straight-
eners and Feeders running progressive tooling. The
facility has been established in the most modern air
conditioned building having a working area of 45, 000
sq.ft. in a world class industrial park in Manesar -
Gurgaon near New Delhi, next to Honda plant. It is
supported by a in-house design department using
Pro-E and CAD/CAM software for design &
development.

Designing Centre
Product innovation is often the result of new combinations of
design, material, tooling and process. Product development
capabilities at Sigma include design work stations that sup-
port a complete range of software and operating platforms
including Pro-E, CAD / CAM, Unigraphics and Algor. These
are mainly used to conduct preliminary studies of the basic
designs and then further analysis is carried out on the
results, in order to check parameters and specifications.
A common prerequisite to the design process of any part is to
first determine its exact operating parameters. This is done by
first determining the detailed, technical specifications of the
part and its ability to perform for a certain length of time with
minimal wear. Availability of this information is followed by
an elaboration of alternative solutions to the design problemkeeping in mind the manufacturability of the product. This
includes the ease to manufacture the product for a particular
design as well as the cost involved in producing that design.
The final design is filtered using the relevant simulation
system (CAD) that uses built-in modules to test the indi-
vidual variations (in geometry and materials) for optimal
conformance to the specified requirements.

The self contained tool rooms are equipped with PRO-E,
CAD / CAM software, a complete range of speciality
machines, over 100 toolmakers and a vast technical
expertise to make metal tools as well as rubber moulds.
Machine resources includes : CNC machine centres, CNC
wire cutting machines, CNC lathe machines, CNC milling
machines, electronic spark erosion machines (EDP),
pantograph machines, die sinking machines, shaping /
planning machines, centreless, cylindrical and surface
grinders, Drilling machines etc.
