SIDI LOGOQuasi a suggellare la forte identità tra l’azienda e il suo fondatore, il marchio SIDI nasce quale unione delle iniziali di Dino Signori. Successivamente nel 1974 il logo assume la sua conformazione attuale con l’introduzione del vortice, simbolo di forza e movimento. Nel corso del tempo il logo si è evoluto graficamente adattandosi alle dinamiche della comunicazione moderna. Da semplice logo il marchio SIDI è oggi uno dei brand più riconoscibili e identificabili del settore.

TITANIUM: è la prima scarpa da ciclismo disegnata e progettata da Dino Signori. Titanium rivoluziona completamente il sistema di aggancio della tacchetta alla suola della scarpa con l’uso di viti regolabili, sostituendo per sempre i chiodi fissi.

TITANIUM: is the first cycling shoe designed and produced by DINO SIGNORI. The Titanium completely revolutionizes cleat attachment on cycling shoes with the use of adjustable screws. Riders can now find the correct position on the pedals, and nailing the cleat to the shoe becomes obsolete.

CYCLE SPORT, per la prima volta viene usata una suola in nylon, in grado di mantenere la stessa rigidità a diverse temperature.

CYCLE SPORT: For the first time ever, a cycling shoe is produced with a nylon sole. The nylon sole has the tremendous advantage of maintaining the same stiffness at different temperatures.

REVOLUTION è la prima scarpa da ciclismo moderna. Revolution introduce l’uso del Velcro® al posto dei lacci. Con il look moderno ed una suola in nylon SIDI rivoluziona la normale linea delle scarpe da ciclismo ed il modo di concepirle.

Viene prodotta la prima scarpa da MTB e CYCLE CROSS con la suola in gomma.

In 1985 SIDI produced the first MTB and CYCLE CROSS shoe with a rubber sole.

GENIUS. L’evoluzione tecnologica del pedale a sgancio rapido, porta SIDI a studiare un sistema di chiusura sostitutiva del Velcro®, per sopportare meglio lo sforzo degli atleti. Nasce così la prima leva micrometrica nell’ industria del ciclismo chiamata, MICRO LOCK, regolabile anche in corsa.

GENIUS: by 1989 Clipless Pedals have evolved to become the norm, and cycling shoe closure systems need to be robust enough to completely take the place of toe clips in securing the foot within the shoe and allowing for easy adjustment during pedaling. SIDI studies alternatives to Velcro® that would better support an athlete’s foot during powerful upward and downward pedal strokes. The result is the first micrometrical buckle in the cycling industry, called MICRO LOCK. A key feature of the Micro Lock buckle is that it is adjustable while racing.

TECNO e MTB TECNO: per sfruttare al massimo tutta la potenza muscolare mentre si pedala, SIDI oltre alla già testata MICRO LOCK SYSTEM introduce il nuovo sistema di chiusura nella parte frontale della scarpa, il MICRO LOCK EVOLUTION.

TECNO and MTB TECNO: In order to achieve maximum power and efficiency while pedaling the TECNO and MTB TECNO combine the popular MICRO LOCK SYSTEM with a new closure system for the front of the shoe: the MICRO LOCK EVOLUTION buckle.

SHADOW e MTB GHOST: SIDI continua l’innovazione dei sistemi di chiusura sviluppando la leva SPIDER, che permette una regolazione più micrometrica del cinturino anche in corsa.Il sistema a cinturini rigidi ricambiabili invece, sostituisce la tradizionale chiusura in Velcro® e permette di mantenere la posizione di chiusura scelta.

SHADOW and MTB GHOST: SIDI continues their closure system innovation in 1997 with the development of the Spider Buckle. The Spider Buckle allows for even more micrometric click-by-click strap adjustment while cycling. The rigid strap closure improve upon traditional Velcro® by being fully replaceable and maintaining a fixed position.

ENERGY e MTB ACTION SRS, per i 40 anni di attività SIDI inventa il sistema T-II per avere una chiusura anteriore micrometrica che adatta la tomaia alla forma del piede, ed il Sole dual system, meccanismo che, se usato permette di irrigidire la suola della scarpa da strada e la suola SRS con inserti ricambiabili per la scarpa da mountain bike.

ENERGY and MTB ACTION SRS: For its 40th anniversary SIDI brings three innovations to the market. The Techno II buckle uses monofilament line and a fine-tooth ratchet for smooth adjustment and even pressure distribution. It allows frontal micrometric closure and adapts the upper of the shoe to the shape of the foot for a customised fit. The Sole Dual System is an insert that is used to increase the sole stiffness of a road shoes, and the SRS, or Sole Replacement System allows the cyclist to replace the worn tread on their mountain bike shoes.

ERGO 1 CARBON: l’unica scarpa da ciclismo sul mercato, ad adottare una suola in Nylon con due inserti rimovibili in puro carbonio, posizionati nella zona del metatarso e nella zona plantare. ERGO 1 CARBON introduce l’uso del High Security Velcro®, un cinturino in Velcro® che nasconde al suo interno dei dentini di plastica che vanno ad incastrarsi tra di loro quando il cinturino viene chiuso, rendendo la chiusura più sicura.

ERGO 1 CARBON: is the only cycling shoe on the market to feature a two replaceable pure carbon inserts positioned in the metatarsus and arch support areas and attached to a nylon frame. The ERGO 1 CARBON introduces the use of High Security Velcro®. High Security Velcro® is a Velcro® strap with integrated locking polymer teeth that engage onto each other when the strap is closed. This feature makes the closure more secure and the strap becomes unmoveable.

ERGO 2 CARBON: SIDI presenta la sua prima suola in puro carbonio. La suola SIDI in carbonio è prodotta con diversi spessori ed è più sottile sulla punta in modo da assicurare un’ottima rigidità senza compromettere la circolazione del sangue del piede, garantendo così un’ottimo comfort ed alte prestazioni. ERGO 2 CARBON introduce un’ altra novità tecnologica: il Tallone Tecnico che rinforza la parte alta del tallone e migliora la calzata chiudendo il retro della scarpa in modo più sicuro attorno alla caviglia del ciclista.

ERGO 2 CARBON: SIDI introduces their first pure carbon sole.The SIDI Full Carbon sole is constructed with a unique pure carbon lay-up that is thinner in the toe to provide a slight amount of flex while retaining optimal stiffness and power transfer in the body of the shoe, without compromising the foot’s blood circulation, guaranteeing comfort, foot health and great power transfer. The ERGO 2 CARBON also introduces new fit technology: the Heel Cup System. The Heel Cup System reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves fit by closing the back of the shoe more securely around the rider’s ankle.

MTB DRAGON 2 CARBON SRS: Adotta la brevettata suola in carbonio ricambiabile (SRS), la suola è in nylon con un inserto di carbonio dal tallone alla punta. Modificato anche il Tallone tecnico che adesso può essere regolato in entrambe le parti tramite due piccole viti che lavorano indipendentemente l’una dall’altra.

MTB DRAGON 2 CARBON SRS: SIDI combines the patented Sole Replacement System (SRS), with a carbon insert reaching from the heel to the toe. The carbon insert and the replaceable Dragon SRS tread are bolted to a narrow, durable nylon frame. The technical Heel Cup System has been upgraded and has become the Adjustable Heel Retention Device. It now adjusts with the turn of a screw.
