Shri Aditya Prasad Padhi joined the 1983 batch of the IAS in the

Odisha Cadre after his Bachelors degree in Economics & Communication

Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Shri Padhi has

wide experience working in Govt. of Odisha & Govt. of India being placed in

Key Departments i.e. Rural Development, Industries, Urban Development,

Finance, Transport, Home and Chief Minister’s Office as well. He is working

as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Secretariat of Hon’ble Chief Minister

from July’ 2013 onwards. During 1992-94, Shri Padhi did his MBA at the Yale

School of Management in USA on a World Bank scholarship. Presently, he

has taken concurrent charge as the Development Commissioner-cum-

Additional Chief Secretary since June’ 2014.
