DOWAGER QUEEN’S SPEECH
My good people of Shotts, my time has come to say farewell & goodbye. My year has been filled with mixed emotions and gladness at being your
queen as I hand over my crown to Breehann.I would like to wish herself & her court all the luck and love that has been
shown to me in my reign May our gala days continue to thrive in the coming years.
May God bless you all.Queen Amy
CROWNING LADY SPEECH
I am honoured and delighted to have been asked to crown Breehann, our Gala Queen for this year. Having worked in the florist shop for some years it was always a privalege to be asked to do the bouquets for the Queen and her Court. As well as the Rainbow Fairies and the Escorts, the children are
looking forward to their special day. This would not happen without the committee and all the hard work and dedication they put in all year round. All we are looking for now is a dry and sunny day. Good luck to the Queen
and all the children involved.Sadie Middleton
We, Shotts Gala Day Committee would like to wish Queen Breehann and her Court a successful Gala Day and hope they enjoy it.
We appreciate the commitment the children have all put in at theirrehearsals and all the help the parents have given over the recent months. We work tirelessly all year to ensure the people of Shotts have a fantastic Gala Day and we would like to thanks all the people and businesses that
have donated gifts and assisted in our fundraising events. If anyone would like to join the committee please watch out for meetings
posted on our facebook page or in the Shotts Wishaw Press.
