Lighting

• There is an overhead light and a small lamp currently in the room. The overhead lighting is too bright as the screen play specifies soft lighting. Therefore, I will use the small lamp and introduce another similar lamp to the room if the current one is not bright enough.

Sound/Noise

• Diegetic sound is used for part of this location but because of the privacy of the location it will be easy to ensure that that background noise is at a minimum.

Health and Safety• Electrical hazards: Some electrical hazards due to

standard household electrical appliances and wall sockets however actors are mature enough to avoid these.

• Trip hazards: Potential for trip hazards however room will be cleared of these as much as possible prior to filming.

• Fire hazards: Potentially due to electrical appliances however they are all safe and no liquids will be introduced to the room. The location is also fitted with an up-to-date smoke alarm

• Machinery: No heavy machinery

Health and Safety• Electrical hazards: no• Trip hazards: potentially, public location so trip

hazards cannot be removed however actors will be aware of this and I will carry first aid supplies should they be needed.

• Fire hazards: no• Machinery: no• Other hazards: outdoors public location so potential

for street crime however this is a low crime area. Cold weather due to time of year so all actors will be dressed appropriately. Hazards from road traffic possible so will ensure all members of the filming party stay together and are aware of road hazards.
