    Anoxic unit is one unit of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in PT. Asia PacificFibers, Tbk. Effluent from the anoxic unit will directly flow to the aeration unit, but roblemsoften arise when the anoxic unit!"s effluent which enter the aeration unit has a #alue of$hemical %xy&en 'emand ($%') abo#e m because the aeration unit has a standard#alue for incomin& $%' that should not exceed that #alue. %ne of the method to fulfilled thatstandard is addin& filter water to the anoxic unit. This research was conducted to study about theinfluence of initial $%' #alue toward ratio of filter water flow rate with wastewater flow rateand the influence of ratio of filter water flow rate with wastewater flow rate toward thedecreasin& of $%' #alue at the ran&e of *!+- m.
