This order further demonstrates Toisa’s commitment to the future of the deep water construction markets. These are markets in which we already operate a number of modern vessels but where we recognise that the future needs of the offshore  industry cannot be fully met from the existing, and aging, world fleet.  This  large,  capable,  flexible  unit  has  the  potential  to  be  further  customized  to  individual  client requirements  and will  represent  a  significant  enhanced  addition  to  Toisa’s  existing  construction vessel fleet.   This  vessel  can, and will,  support a wide  variety of  subsea operations world‐wide. This order will provide  the market with a DP3 vessel where  full  compliance with  the SPS Code  is a  fundamental principle of the design and also includes arrangements to meet DNV’s COMFORT Class.  The vessel has all the inherent flexibility in design of previous Toisa construction vessels ‐ and more so. The under‐deck  configuration provides  space  allowing  installation of 2  x 2500 Tonne  capacity under‐deck  carousels, and/or a  range of alternative equipment  to be  installed –  similarly, a  large deck area of  c. 2900m2  is optimised  clear  space  for  the  installation of project equipment  such as pipelay spreads and the carriage and deployment of heavy offshore equipment for installation. A fully integrated vessel management and control system of all key functions is fitted on the vessel and includes the optional provision for deployment of a deck mounted diving bell through a central moonpool.  The now common requirement  for subsea construction vessels  to accommodate  large numbers of contractors personnel has  also been  addressed  in designing  the  ship  to  accommodate up  to 250 persons ( depending on Charterers requirements).  Sealion Shipping Ltd currently operates  four existing Construction vessels within  its varied modern fleet of  twenty  five offshore support vessels.  In addition, Toisa has a  further  five offshore support vessels presently under construction, that will  join the Sealion fleet during 2013 and 2014. Further newbuilding projects remain under consideration.  Full  details  of  the  Sealion  Fleet  can  be  found  on  our website  at www.sealionshipping.co.uk  and further details of this new order can be obtained from the Chartering Department at:
