Make A DifferenceAs Swedes and Finns we live in an Emission Control Area, which has been selected to hold a higher level of protection agains pollution. For shipping this means that new tech-nologies need to be tested in order to be implemented, safety issues need to be assessed and the neces-sary infrastructure needs to be in place. The balance act is to conduct this work while maintaining com-petitive industry prices for trans-ported goods, so that quality of life for the citizens can remain stable. In Make A Difference we conduct the needed LNG studies and the prepar-atory work to harmonize between land and sea.

Our Host is Swedish Shipowners’ Association and our Co-hosts are, during Day 01, Ports of Stockholm and, during Day 02, Viking Line.

The cost covers the activities and conferences Day 01 and Day 02, the trip with VIKING GRACE, singelcabin, breakfast, lunch buffé and 3 din-ner course al carte Day 02 as well as an early breakfast in the morning Day 03 before arriving Stockholm.

As a treat during Day 01 our Co-host Ports of Stockholm offers refreshments and mingle opportunity in their facilities. Our Co-host for Day 02, Viking Line, has kindly offered us a reduced journey price and access to its confer-ence facilities.
