    established by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

    on 16th Sept. 2010 at Jodhpur under the aegis

    of Indian Institute of Rural Management,

    Jaipur.

    For strengthening and restructuring our project we

    have to anticipate the challenges and opportunitiesin the current environment so that we can meet our

    vision to achieve 100% literacy in the State.

    By the help of SWOT analysis we can reduce our

    weakness so that we can eliminate threats in

    future.

    Now it has become a demand for every

    Gaps in coordination with few PRIs and otherstakeholders.

    Job insecurity due to lack of long term vision of theScheme

    Contractual Staff and low emoluments.

    Lack of training program to the staff.

    No provision of evaluation of ministerial staff.

    Less emphasis on New technology still inclined ontraditional approach of working.

    There is no strict guideline for welfare of employees.

    Threats for SRC Geographical Constraints due to wide desert area.

    Failure of Scheme due to lack of support from Block Coordinators and PRIsat few levels.

    No long term planning of Project.

    Govt. restriction and lack of political will

    Lack of determination in the external sources.

    Lack of interest and attitudinal problems at the community level.

    There is no strict law enforcement to prevent child labour in the countrywhich is one of the cause of illiteracy.

    Discrimination among male education and female education due toconservative approach of the community.

    Lack of access to target groups and locations.

    Sustainability problems due to lack of funding.

    Anti Scheme approaches of media and advocacy organization.

    Anti NGO approaches of Govt. bodies

    Litigations practise at Grass root level

    Nervousness at Field level in VTs, Preraks.

    Less priority given by PRI's to the Scheme.

    Lack of Communication Skill.

    Less experience in Adult literacy.

    Proper Documentation and report writing.

    Lesser no. of training session.

    Lack of professional approach of staff to achieve

    goals.

    Some of fresher staff reluctant to give speech in

    public. Staff is not equipped with all the aspects pertaining

    to the IT work.

    No provision for Staff Welfare and No attractive

    emoluments.

    Threats Job insecurity due to no longer policy for adult literacy.

    Due to contractual nature of job uncertainty of loosing job is veryhigh.

    No carrier orientation program.

    Lack of support from Govt. bodies, Preraks and PRIs.

    Difference in the acceptance of higher authorities as compare toground reality.

    Sometimes project seems to be hypothetical because at few levelsthey ignore the actual facts.

    Due to increasing inflation rate we often find difficulty in financialterm.

    Less willingness of people to work in rural areas.

    If we wants to full fill our vision ofbringing academic excellence

    than we have to work on theweakness of our organization toreduce threats in future as well as
