DayEntry from Oxford English Dictionary Pronunciation:/dā-tīm/ Noun: the time of the day between sunrise and sunset: she was alone in the daytime. [as modifier]: a daytime telephone number.Starts of the day for; a baby- 4am, a child- 7am, a teenager- 11am, a student- 1pm, an adult- 6am, an oap- whenever they like.Daylight is widely accepted to have a positive psychological effect on the human being, and consequently more cases of mental health problems are registered during the winter months than during the summer months due to the shortened periods of daylight. Cases of depression specifically linked to limited daylight are referred to as seasonal affective disorder.

le pulseare the

of the CITYThe life and energy in cities like

these is given by those who live in them. The people bring a pulse to

the streets and veins of the city, a coursing flow of energy that allows the place to grow stronger and bigger. It’s inhabitants make the city what is it; a radiant creature or a dirty beast. This pulse though, will sweep you off your feet if you aren’t careful. The world goes by around you at such a page that it is a blur; there is always something going on. And in the dark of night, when the shops have closed and areas of the city sleep, there will be no movement of people, no life, and it will feel strange.

The light of day made some feel too vulnerable, they preferred to remain hidden or simply preferred the

darker drama to life. On the skin, the seeming innocence and beauty of the day dies along with the sun’s beams, while under the hazed glow of the silver moon’s eyes, people change. This is the time for the scarier side say the day dwellers, rather these are the hours of true life reply those nocturnal. This is the twist to the play, but do not worry. Take my hand and follow me into the darkness for an adventure to the tide shadows of the world.

Entry from Oxford English DictionaryNight /nīt/ Noun: The period of darkness in each twenty-four hours; the time from sunset to sunrise: “a moonless night”.This as the interval between two days: “a two-bedroom cabin costs $90 per night”.Starts of the night for; a baby- 5pm, a child- 6pm, a teenager- 11pm, a student- 1am, an adult- 9pm, an oap- whenever they like.Stage one, Light Sleep: During the first stage of sleep, we’re half awake and half asleep. Muscle activity slows and slight twitching may occur. Here we can be awakened easily.Stage two, True Sleep: Within ten minutes of light sleep, we enter stage two, lasting around 20 minutes. Breathing patterns and heart rate slows. This period accounts for the largest part of human sleep. Stages three and four: Deep Sleep: Next the brain begins producing delta waves; large/high amplitude, and slow/low frequency. Breathing and heart rate are at their lowest.

SKYflowersleavesDARKNESSDuring the day, colours are

natural and beautiful. A baby sky blue, pastel greens

over countryside fields, delicate hues caressing the fragile petals of flowers. The colours of the day are gentle; and most people think the night suffocates and smothers them. But while it kills some colours, it gives birth to new ones; The vibrant glow of neon, the aura of red fading from a set sun in the horizon and a whiplash from a shooting star or the northern lights. Darkness doesn’t just drown colours out but it allows another breed to exist

in place; Just keeping the balance.

THE DARK IS NO KILLER

People think that the night suffocates the light and

beauty of the world. They are wrong; the true killer is that man made light, neon. Neon will burn into the dark and set it alight.Neon is the killer, the killer of something many of us are afraid of. For the darkness can terrorise out minds into acts of paranoia, we much prefer the notion. The notion of a time where we can escape from our lives that are refined by ‘day’. We

would rather live a life that is split: hours for

our told life, and hours of our lived life. We as

people would rather stray into the darkness

as a voyage of ourselves, the excitement and romance of it, both

terrifying us with fears of unknown, while

fueling an adrenaline that allows us to

break free from those ropes people bind out decisions with in the light of day. At night we each become the animal we wish; and

neon burns a path for us to walk along.

Look From anIntrigued Eye.

Disorientation is no bad thing for the mind from an intrigued eye. Sometimes we get so lost looking at the bigger picture, we lose sight of the little beauties in life. Sometimes we drop into a pattern of

watching the world in such a way, we allow even the tiniest details to slip into an abyss. This could be anything, and its segments could be anything else.

Look From anIntrigued Eye. Appreciate it for that.

Obelisk statues scrape the skies and rip open the clouds. Their hundreds of eyes in varying shapes and proportions glow into the black air, watching all that is below. As

imposing as they may be though, do

not let them scare you, for they guard you: They keep you safe. They are the man made mountains, the holders of life and warmth. Towering above us we are dwarfed, but when inside and at the top; we are giants.

Beneath them, gazing up in awe, they crowd us and make us feel both imprisoned and vulnerable too. The black sky looms overhead, but their trapped light seeps out like rays of light through a

rainforest canopy. Take that light as hope of an embracing life. The light is your hope, and stark cliffs such as these are full of it. Once you understand this, the concrete jungle won’t seem so daunting.

Werewolves, vampires, and other monsters aren’t the only beasts to come out to play at night. Past

the blue sirens screaming the streets, you’ll hear echoing rumbles of roars in the dark. //The night brings out these metal monsters, carbon creatures, prowling the streets in arrogance. Everyone’s heads will turn and hearts will race, as the beasts heart throbs to shout its husky growl. Listen to them pur over the surrounding, lost, day creatures. //Although these monsters are kings of the night, they are silent trespassers under the sun. Not unwelcome, but neither kings; they sit out of place in a world of light. At night their eyes pierce the black, but in day, their mischief and vanity is bleached.
