T h e Sh e n a n d o a h We l l n e s s Pa r k (SWP) is a development project with a unique mission. The core mission, around which all the ancillary objectives are built, is the restoration and rehabilitation of America’s heroes. • Military Veterans - Many of America’s military veterans are returning from overseas deployments with traumatic head injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.• NFL Veterans – Many NFL players end their playing careers having suffered from multiple concussions and serious head injuries.

Both categories of ‘hero veterans’ are in need of special and focused care that has been unavailable in traditional health care systems and settings. The development team, led by its visionary founder Pham Chopra, has adopted a set of inviolate core values that will guide the design, construction, and operation of the Shenandoah Wellness Park (SWP).

Located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Parkway and minutes from Shenandoah National Park, the is one of three core projects within the Master Planned Site known as Shenandoah Wellness Park. Partnering with the Shenan-doah Hospitality Village and Shenandoah Wellness Village, the Shenandoah Athletic Village (SAV) will support a wide variety of athletic events in a myriad of different sports. The Complex will focus on youth athletics and provide an unsurpassed venue for tourna-ments,camps,combines,andtraining.Inadditiontotheathleticfieldsandcourts,therewillbe unique amenities that will make the SAC experience truly unique. Team lodging (lodge houses) will be supported by lodge homes with private coach’s accommodations and ca-pacity up to 20 athletes. Additional lodging will be offered at the full service hotel located across the street in the Hospitality Village. Team building facilities such as Obstacle Cours-es,ConfidenceCoursesandRopeChallengeswill foster teamwork, teambuildingandteam bonding. Outdoor sports will be promoted in the neighboring national park – hunting, fishing,mountainclimbing,mountainbikingandhiking–andgunsafetyandtrainingwillbeconductedinthemodernrifleandpistolranges.PhysicalTherapy,WeightTraining,AquaticTraining and Wellness Training will be conducted on the adjacent Shenandoah Wellness Village.

Two sister projects, the Shenandoah Hospitality Village and Shenandoah Athletic Complex, will support the core mission of the Shenandoah Wellness Village (SWV) – the repair, rehabilitation, recovery and re-entry of injured American heroes from our military and professional athlete communities. The SWV will provide a myriad of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual treatments for heroes suffering from traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress syndrome, concussions, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, substance abuse and other service and sports related disabilities. Shenandoah Wellness Village, through its sponsors – the Veterans Administration and the National Football League - will provide state-of-the-art Transitional Living Facilities, Physical Therapy Facilities, Exercise and Weight Training Facilities, Integrated Medicine Facilities, Medical Research Facilities and housing for heroes under treatment. The neighboring Athletic Complex (SAC), with its focus on youth athletic tournaments, camps, combines, and training, will provide employment and societal interaction for heroes under treatment as they work with America’s youth in their areas of athletic expertise.

As a key logistical partner to the Shenandoah Wellness Village and Shenandoah Athletic Complex, the Shenandoah Hospitality Village will provide hospitality, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences for those patrons, clients, visitors, athletes, coaches and tourists visiting the complex. The central feature of the SHV will be a 200 room, full service hotel with magnificent views of the village and the valley. Within the hotel building will be conference and meeting facilities, pool and athletic facilities, dining facilities with a full complement of standard and extended stay rooms. The hotel will overlook an outdoor amphitheater which will play host to regional and national entertainment acts. Also located on this site will be shopping, retail and dining offerings.
