Here we are once again in Costa Rica. . .Our t r i p was good and we were met a t the bus s ta t ionhere in Liberia, a t midni^ t , by about I5 members of the Church in San Roq.ue....We had a

happy reunion and whi le Bob and th e Pasto r lo ca ted a truck to haul ou r baggage, the res t ofus walked the 7 blocks to our house, t a lk ing an d laughing and catching up on a l l the news. . . .

I t i s hot and di r ty and noisy here and we found o\xr house fu l l of d i r t but despite i t a l li t i s good to be back and once again sleeping in ou r own beds., , .Now a f t e r jus t three weeks,we f e e l as i f we ve never been gone. We have hsid a steady stream of v i s i t o r s and w ell w is he rs ,and t makes us f e e l good t o know we were m i s s e d . . . . . .

Bob h as a lr ea dy put a roof on a brother s house, cut posts for a small shaded area, which wil lserve as another meeting place fo r a while, planned a reviva l fo r Easter Week..plus he hasworked on the car, the motor bike and helped clean things up around here I v e beenvis i t ing , ha d womens meetings, cut seven heads of hair and even given a perm, plus a l l thecleaning, repai r ing , e tc , t ha t goes along with b ein g gone 3 months, . . .Sally s tar ted to schoolon March 11th and i s well i n to her s tud i e s . She was r e a l l y a b ig help t o me i n c lean ing andget t ing se t t l ed again. Our ca r s t i l l d oe sn t r un , so t h i s included a l o t o walking an d biker i d i n g t o g e t g r o c e r i e s and th e necessa ry t h i n g s

Then on Fr iday, M^ch 2pth, Bob an d I were a p a r t of a very t ragic accident . We had gone toSan Jose on the bus. four hours away) and were returning t ha t night when we had a wreck, , ,the_^ bus ran head-on into a^imi truck. There were 3 dead and 36 badly injured, but Praisethe Lord, we were only badly banged and bruised. We were able to help th e in ju red fo r aboutan hour and a h a l f befo re we c o u l d n t walk anymore. I t was a h o r r i b l e o r d e a l and we Pra i seGod fo r His f a i th fu l care an d p r o t e c ti o n W e were slowed down fo r about a week, not beingable to walk the f i r s t 2 or 3 days, but we are almost as good as new now,, . ,PrLii Sal ly wasr e a l l y scared an d i n t e a r s when we f i n a l l y ar r ived home. She has been our nurse and our maid l l week l o n g .

We see so much evidence of growth among th e people an d a l l goes well i n the Lord s work he re .We f ee l an urgency in get t ing God s word out to as many as we can, because th e economical andp o l i t i c a l s i t u a t i o n here i s not too good an d we are not sure o f what m i ^ t happen in the nearfu ture . We pra ise God t ha t He i s ru le r of a l l things an d we want to f i t in to His plan fo r us.Pray much fo r us an d Hi s work here in Costa R i c a u r plans are to begin in April ,bui ld ing on the c l a s s rooms t h a t are so badly needed, p lus we a re going t o begin Sundayschoolc l a s s e s i n th e new a r ea t h a t the Lord has g iv en us . Also we pray t h a t the week of r ev iva l wi l lb r i n g many more t o t h e Lord

One thing that happened while we were gone tha t we are especial ly th r i l l ed with, i s that thePas to r s and the Sundayschool Teachers ha d a week o f DVBS with I50 c h il d re n a tt e nd i ng eachday The people t ha t the Lord chose to be in charge of the Church while we were goner e a l l y d id am exce l len t job i n every s i tua t ion THANK YO U LORDl , l i t

Rober ta came home on th e ^ th o f June and went r i ^ t t o work he lp ing s t a r t a newSunday School i n a new neighborhood.
