Born January 28, 1912 Influenced by A.P. Ryder and Siqueiros. Got inspiration from surrealism and Picasso by

making abstract art describing his feelings. His paintings include museums in New York City,

San Francisco, Dallas, and Chicago. Married painter Lee Krasner.

Died in an automobile accident in 1956.

ے Born in the Netherlands on March 30, 1853.ے Born 1 year after his deceased brother and was the

“replacement” child.ے Van Gogh was a smart student, but left his studies

at the age of 15.ے While in London, became a great fan of George Eliot

and Charles Dickens.ے In 1885, he started painting pictures of peasants.ے 5 years later, on July 30th, he died at 1:30 am.
