Purpose of Document
This document provides instructions to use the administrative functions within Executive Dashboard, describes the purpose for each report, and includes a description of each report for General Ledger, Management Trending and Ratio, Demand Deposit, Call Schedules. Call Reports have been documented in a separate document.

OVERVIEW
The Executive Dashboard has administrative capabilities, which have links located at the top of the screen, and reporting functionality.
Administrative functionalities include links for the following:

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
Users
Purpose: The Users link is an administrative function that will allow you to add a user to the Executive Dashboard.
Step Action 1 Click on Users link. 2 Click Add new user.

3 Complete the available fields and click Add User.
Available fields:
Field Name Description User Id A unique ID that a new user will use to log into the Executive Dashboard.
First initial of First Name and Last Name, JDoe.
First Name First name of new user. Last Name Last name of new user. Email Address Email address of new user. Role These roles will vary depending on the roles created through the Roles
Administrative function (See Roles in this document). This field will NOT display options until roles have been defined in the Roles Administrative function.
4 Click OK to notification that user has been added.
5 When the User Management screen appears, click Save.

Roles
Purpose: The Roles link is an administrative function that will allow you to add permissions based upon the job responsibilities of personnel at your bank. You will choose a Role when adding a new user (See Users in this Administrative functions section)
Add a Role
Step Action 1 Click on Roles link. 2 Click on the Add new child box, located to the right of admin (You).
3 Key name of role into the first box. 3 Click each checkbox to enable the functions for this role and click Save.

Windows Enables the ability to create windows used to group reports. Server Files Enables the ability to upload files to the server for all users to view. Local Files Enables the ability to load local files to the server for all users to view. Links Enables the user to add a link to the Executive Dashboard. Dashboard Enables the ability to view and change the layout of the Dashboard
components. Reports Enables the ability to view and configure Dashboard reports. Audit Enables the ability to view the Audit Log. Call Reports Enables the ability to view and change Call Reports.
Edit or Delete an Existing Role

Step Action 1 Click the Edit icon. 2 Remove checkboxes to disable or click to add functions to this role.

Reports
Purpose: The Reports link is an administrative function that will allow you to identify the window where each report will appear.

Step Action 1 Click the Reports link. 2 For each Report Name, click the drop-down in the Type column and select the window
where the report will appear. 3 Click the Save types button.
Available Fields:
Field Name Description Type Reports will appear in the default window setup. To change the default
window where the report appears, click the Type drop-down and select a window.
View report Click this link to view the report. Advanced Click the Advance link beside any report Type to determine which Roles are
allowed to view and edit the reports and designate the window where the report will appear.
When the Can Edit checkbox is selected for a Role (i.e. Manager), all reports for that Type (i.e. Balance Sheet) of report will use that setting.

Windows
Purpose: The Windows link is an administrative function that will allow you to create or delete a window where assigned reports will appear.
Available fields:
Field Name Description Name This is the name of the window describing the reports to group. You can rename the
window by clicking in this field and typing a new name. Advanced This link will allow you to change the window name based upon the Role of the user. Delete Use this link to delete a window. Add new window
This is used to add a new window to the Executive Dashboard. Step Action
1 Click Add new window. 2 Key Name for window.
3 Click Type drop-down, select from Report List or Shortcut

Type Description
Report List
Select this option to create a window, which will become an option for any of the reports. (I.e. you can create a window called Links2, which can be selected in the Type column by any of the Balance Sheet Reports.)
Shortcuts Select this option to create a window, which will be available to
any of the Shortcuts. (I.e. you can create a window called Links2, which can be selected in the Window column for any Link Name such as Google.)
4 Click Add Window.

5 The added window will appear in the Name list. Click Save Names button.
A window will NOT show up on the Executive Dashboard until you have added a Report ID or link to the Window.

Links
Purpose: Links is an administrative function that will allow you to:
• Add new shortcut link to an external URL or server file • Assign permissions to view • Delete a link
Add new shortcut link to an external URL or server file.
Step Action 1 Click on Links. 2 Click Add new shortcut link and complete the available fields.
Available fields:
Add Shortcut for External URL
Field Name Description Name Use this field to identify what is linked (i.e. Google). URL Key the address of the link here.
Window This drop-down is dependent upon the name of the window created (See Windows in
this Administrative functions section.)

Add Shortcut for Server File
Field Name Description Name Use this field to identify the name of the file. File Click the drop-down arrow beside the File field and select the file name.
Window This drop-down is dependent upon the name of the window created (See Windows in
this Administrative functions section).

Assign permissions to view
Step Action 1 Click on the Advanced link.
2 Click on Can View or Can Edit checkboxes to identify which roles can access and edit the
link, and click OK.

Files
Purpose: Files is an administrative function that allows you to add a file to the dashboard.
Available fields:
Field Name Description File Clicking the Browse… button, locate the file to upload on your computer, click open to
auto-populated this field with the location of the file.
Name Key a name for the file.
Step Action 1 Click on Files link. 2 Click Add new file. 3 Complete the available fields and click Upload.

Audit Trail
Purpose: Audit Trail is a function that allows you to track the activity of users within the Dashboard site.
Available fields:
Field Name Description User Name The ID of the user that performed the listed action. Report ID The name of the report that the user viewed/edited. Date The date of the user action. Time The time of the user action. IP Address The IP Address of the machine from which the action was performed. Machine Name
The name of the machine from which the action was performed.
Action Type of action that was performed by the user. For example: login, logout, view, edit, change password.
Description A brief overview of the action that was performed by the user.
Step Action 1 Click on Audit Trail link. 2 Use the available fields to review activity of users on Executive dashboard.

NAVIGATION
Several of the Demand Deposit, General Ledger, and Loan reports have tabs at the top of the report to provide added functionality.
General
Field… Description… Save as View Once a view has been changed, use this function to save a view with the
desired layout.
Load View Once a view has been changed, use this function to load a view that is not
the default view. Default View This is the view that has been indicated as the view automatically loaded
when the report is opened.

Formula Tab
Use the Formula Column to add a calculation column to the table.
Field… Option… Description… Name N/A Enter the Name for the column to be added to the grid. Insert a column
Varies If desired, select an available column and click Insert to add it into the Formula.
Formula N/A Enter the formula by typing; to prevent spelling errors, columns can be inserted by selecting them from the column list (See Insert a column). Column names are enclosed within square brackets [ ] and typical math operator symbols, such as + - * / are used.
Data Type Number Indicate the Data Type and Display Format. Formatting options include numeric and date formats and in-cell bar gauges and cell coloring (shown). Click Add to create the new column.

Display Format
###,###,##0.00 The Display Format options control how data in the Data Type field is displayed. Formatting options include numeric, date, and in-cell bar gauges and cell coloring.

Add N/A This button creates the new column.

Layout Tab
This tab is used to hide and arrange columns.
Field… Description… Column Order Click on the up or down arrow icons beside any column to move it one
column to the left or right. The icons for other columns will automatically adjust to show their new relative positions. Click OK to redraw the grid.
Visibility Tab
Field… Description… Visible Uncheck the Visible checkbox beside any column that you wish to hide;
Step Action 1 Use the up or down arrow icons beside each column to move it up or down. 2 Click OK to reorder the table. 3 Check or uncheck a Visible checkbox beside a column to display or hide it.

Sort Tab
This tab is used to create initial sort order columns.

Varies This field provides options based upon the columns of report data. The information will vary based upon the report.

Ascending Smallest to Largest Value; A to Z.
Descending Largest to smallest Value; Z to A.
Add This moves the criteria from the Data Column and Order Direction into the
Sort Order Columns section and applies the sort.
Remove N/A Use this button to remove the sort criterion.

Filter Tab
This tab allows users to exclude data from the display grid using a variety of criteria.
The following steps are used to filter data values:
Field… Option… Description… Filter Column Varies This field provides options based upon the columns of report data.
This information will vary based upon the report. Comparison = Equals
< Less than = Greater than or Equal to > Greater than Not Equal to Starts With The Starts With and Contains operators are useful for finding values
at the beginning or within data (analogous to SQL WHERE clause operators LIKE and CONTAINS) and will work with both text and numeric data. They do not support wildcard characters.

Step Action 1 Select the Filter Column drop-down to choose from the list of columns to be filtered. 2 Selecting a Comparison operator from the drop-down list 3 Key a Value for the criteria 4 Click Add.

Date Range Enter a Starting and Ending date to filter on a date range.
In Designate a list of values for which you wish to search and it will
include all records from the database that are in that list.

Aggregate Function Sum These are mathematical functions that allow you to add columns of data, count items, etc. Average
Standard Deviation Count Distinct Count Minimum Maximum
Add N/A This is used to aggregate the data. Remove N/A Removes the built aggregate functions.
Step Action 1 Click the Data Column drop-down from the list of columns to aggregate. 2 Click the Aggregate Function drop-down and select one of the following options: Sum,
Average, Standard Deviation, Count, Distinct Count, Minimum, and Maximum. 3 Click Add to aggregate the data.

Introduction
The reporting function of Executive Dashboard requires the use of either the Firefox browser or Internet Explorer 11 or higher to export reports to PDF or Excel.
Balance Sheet Reports
Purpose: The first column in the balance sheet reports will list the following:

DD5314 - Posted Transaction Report
Purpose: This is a reports list of all transactions posted to deposit accounts for the current business day. This report provides an audit trail of transactions postings, including the source of transaction and the type of transaction. It also includes the ending balance of the account for the day.

Purpose: The purpose of this report is to provide a list of accounts that closed during the current business day’s processing cycle. The account could be closed by a transaction or by changing the close at zero balance to Yes on a zero balance account.

DD5343 - New Deposit Account Listing
Purpose: The purpose of this report is to list all new accounts that have been funded today. If the account is opened but no deposit is made, it will not appear on this report until there has been a deposit to the account.
